I raised this issue on SB before. If you see all the hot threads, almost none of them are related to defence. This is a defence forum right. Shouldn't we be discussing more about defence?

Yes we should. Now, name me one forum where pure defense is discussed. Not everybody is a defense consultant or a military professional.

What I am saying is that most discussions on this forum are about topics not related to defence. Whenever I see the hot threads or the currently active threads most of them are not about defence. This is a defence forum and most discussions should be about defence. If people want to discuss other things, we should make completely separate forum for it and not just a different section.

Anyways this is only my personal opinion.

I believe you will find many members who will agree with me. After all, when I first found this forum, I was googling about defence and not politics.

Is it from a scientific journal? Which journal is it?

You might want to post the salient features, instead of posting the entire PDF. Check copyright constraints.

Its a working paper by Center for International Security & Arms Control. Its 26 pages long and contains a lots of diagrams. Thats why I want to upload it in its entirety. Do we have a repository where we can upload, index and then retrieve the documents for future references? Copyright is not a problem.

feedback - KUDOS to admin for revamping the "latest posts" format to include a couple of lines posted and also the idea of 30 min limit to edit is also a snazzy idea worth the experimentation ( btw im expecting at least a couple of likes from the admin members for this apple -polishing - heck it's not apple-p but a genuine compliment ) -- well done guys !

on second thoughts - i might say a bit more - tis forum is pretty good not only these days but inf fact it has been all along - i visited the pak def forum and it is PATHETIC - quality close to zero - a lot of graffitti and no real arguments some of the other forum(s) (fora) are hogged by the same old people -here it is fresh light and interesting - light but touches base ( oh ohhh ! not that ) - but that's to the members credit

i almost forgot to add that - getting rid of some of the nasty CHICOMS ( yay !!! ) has improved the quality of debate NO END ( by geting rid of the ugly personal mud-slinging ) there still are one or two misbehaving , but one or two is tolerable , i guess - special thanks to maybe LF ? lethal force ? for doing that - well all the rest of admin too ! thanks guys ...

your continual upgrading is appreciated but some of it may not be really necessary .....still it is v much appreciated - once again - well done ADMIN !!
