Support infra for hydrogen vehicles is non-existent currently and R&D on it way lower than EV. The only biggie which bet big time on hydrogen was Toyota and even they have accepted the EV future.

But hydrogen is most appropriate for CV space where large batteries are not practical. I remember SC 'suggested' couple of years ago that center replace all delhi buses with hydrogen-powered ones.
So in that respect, the increase in budget for setting up hydrogen infra is appreciable.

Hydrogen fuel cells are very expensive. As long as petroleum is cheap enough, the chances of hydrogen vehicles are very low.

Not just the cost of the fuel cells, but what is keeping hydrogen from taking off are lack of hydrogen re-fueling stations (hydrogen fuel itself works out to be expensive) and the perception that hydrogen is highly inflammable and hence dangerous. But hydrogen is the BEST fuel available - only byproduct/exhaust is pure water!

Gormint will have some serious heavy lifting to do to get over these hurdles.

for my understanding..

Was it specifically mentioned in the budget speech that this hydrogen policy is for fuel cells?

Subsidies on related pan-india infrastructure to make hydrogen viable for CVs ... definitely i think..

So the basis for the India today graphic on what goods prices increases seems to be based on custom duties, India today idiots have not realised that chargers and other electronic goods where duties have been hiked are being made in India now. More companies are setting up shop on India for these goods.

India today Manasa vacha karmana still living in congi rule period.

All Gandi media have to give a negative spin on anything that the Modi govt does, so it's unsurprising.
Besides the import hi import hoga lobby still exists.

The Congress party is fallen into an abyss. Nothing can be done about it.

As far as Twitter is concerned, sooner govt. blocks it, better it will be. It has become an 'adda' of anti-nationals.
They are brain dead also, like bots they attach "Adani-Ambani" to everything the Gormint does, you ask them specifically about what they find wrong in the Budget and it will be a spew of 'Godi Media', "Bhakt", "moot peenay walay", "chaddi" etc etc.
It is a similar case for Farm Laws, or any other reform or "scheme" that the Gormint brings out.

Their entire political propaganda machinery is based on spewing rumors, half-truths and appeals to emotion.

povertarian means free socialist goodies, like free electricity free houses etc etc ..
I got that. But what I meant was.. is it an accepted term or only Shekhar Gupta & co use it? A google search on this word results in first 3-4 links from Print.

BSNL, MTNL, Air India ...
dead wood need to be cleared soon....
Unpopular opinion but I feel those 3 are 'critical' enough in that they should be restructured in a way that makes them more efficient rather than being privatised. The govt should control them, air india especially and I concur with suswamy in this regard. Like anand ranganathan said since 2003 no psu has actually been bought by a pvt company.

SANSEX jumps 2%, RANDITV studio with Pronoy Roy to Jain, ‘Important to first check which company is going up and which has gone down’.

FM speech is yet to start.

I quickly moved to Republic TV Live.

Anything for us salaries class.... guess zilch... Kamdhenu gau - I am still thanful they did not imposed any new taxes... Am thinking of buying a car for almost 2 years now and each time petrol prices & almost 50% taxes helds me back .. i had this habit of taking a logical decision and brain always wins over heart... Sigh!!!!!!!!!!

Infra- this seems to be a never ending pit despite paying for everything to no end..and getting tax on tax .. I am happy that with tolls collections going fasttag way, there will be some reveue leakage plug... but there is a dire need to plug corruption in other spheres.. thats just one of thousand way!!!!!!!!!!!!

Health care - Again.. I see no change.. most probably whole money will end up in tijori of few...AIIMS seems to be the latest slogan... Many be another 10-15 years when i will really need them.... till than we continue to get fleeced by likes of fortis / apollo...

Privatization - this is again something that no one is interested in & have no clue... need of the hour is to bring out the inertia in govt babus and clerk and introduce a performance based culture.. instead they keep getting those 10 - 15 % Mehngai bhaata Y on Y and feed the non performance... I am in favor of keeping critical PSU's in house.. for eg - BSNL / MTNL .. control over comm mediums is key in 21 century....perhaps kick out babus .. bring in fresh blood and promote competitive work culture...

Income tax - they seems to be the target of each budget with each step trying to reduce corruption in them .. let us see...
