MURAD AESA radar has flown for the first time!

The radar had been integrated on an F16(for ÖZGÜR modernization programme) and has been flown for the first time. One AESA is also mounted on AKINCI drone and will fly very soon, too.

Hürjet, F16 Özgür, AKINCI, KIZILELMA and ANKA-3 will be equipped with MURAD AESA.

Watch the video from 01:00 to see the some processes of AESA production.

I do not have info about that one ,but I am sure we don't have nuclear reactor pressure vessels producers as of now. But our private sector can produce when a project assigned to them.
We have industrial base in Türkiye.
For civilian side, we are planning to have Torium based reactors.
Private sector isn't a magical answer to everything. They only work for their profitability. Turkish private sector is capable of assembling and manufacturing what they had been subcontracted to in past by NATO companies (through drawings and technical specifications transferred to manufacturer by licensor). Turkey's economy is too small to take up these projects through local demands, especially at this speed.

That is why they get Israeli air defense system ,right!!
Since Akash fails anytime, they also want to keep thrust worthy system.
What did an Armenian commander say about indian systems that have been provided by India?? Did he say scrap metal,or anything else?
And your only buyers have been Pakistan which lost all wars with India and Ukraine that is consistently losing to Russians. So all you can recite is Azerbaijan and Armenia which does not have a large standing army as a reason why your weapons are superior to Indian weapons? :bplease: :rotfl: Get the fuck outta here you wannabe joker. Keep entertaining those rapey Pakis that come to your shore and practice their womanizing ways.

Using Rotax engine? That engine is being produced by tens of thousands and is extremely cheap. why bother developing the simple gasoline engine when it's readily available. Instead TEI has developed bigger turbodiesel engines like PD-170(170hp), PD-222(225hp) that is powering ANKA, AKSUNGUR and TB3 drones.

TEI - TEI-PD170 Turbodiesel Aviation Engine
Turkiye that doesn't even have a decent domestic Auto industry has developed Turbodiesel engines?? Sure.

No one justifies Inflation!! Else we would not be trying it to decrease.
What I say is, inflation does not affect people as much as you think. Just check minimum wage changes per month during last 10 years.
It was worse between 2019-2022.but right now , it does not affect much even inflation is more than 65
And what about the savings in Lira ?? Turkish banks offer 40-45% constant interest rate on Fixed deposit, meanwhile inflation fluctuates from 50-70% time to time.

All that high-tech goods and services you import from West come at cost. Your debt is 6X of your foreign reserves.
This is the data of BoP, Higher the worse. Use slider to change year.

I'm not talking about Indian weapons. I did not read the last pages yet. The dumb responses are the unsubstantiated claims about Turkish systems. Like yours with "Europeans are developing Turkish weapons". You cannot be that naive
There's no naievity. The fact that Turkish defence industry depends on COTS components & foreign consultancy is a well known fact.

I asked your fellow compatriot about Turkish companies that can manufacture high power rating steam turbines, but he had no answer. How can a country devoid of heavy engineering capabilities build it's MIC without foreign assistance?

Please provide evidence for your claim!
Well, In another context, I never commented in this thread, so I wanna ask you about your countries Airforce fleet philosophy. Iam not asking about weapons whether your country genuinely r&d'ed them or not but iam asking about overall planning. Why did your country jump directly to twin-engine 5th gen fighter jet, when even if they are locally procured they can be expensive. Even if they cost only 10M$ hypothetically, they will cost a lot for maintenance. TAF fleet mainly consists of F-16 as of now. Any AirForce generally has a Workhorse+Flagship. In USAF case that is F-16+F-15 in previous generation and F-35+F-22/6th-GEN in present generation but an all F-35 fleet like USAF is unaffordable for many countries. So like China is still producing J-10 which is its main workhorse while J-20 is its main flagship, India is also planning same Tejas as workhorse and AMCA as Flagship. TAF would also like that i presume unless you guys gonna replace all Single-Engine F-16 workhorses with KAAN which is expensive to maintain. Or are you guys planning on using drones or loyal Kizilelma or HurJet as Workhorse? .Iam not understanding your AF philosophy. Had they invested in a cheap KF-21 esque single engine plane to replace F-16 ironically on which you guys were swindled 20B$, you guys would have replaced every F-16 with domestic equivalent plane(Iam not contesting about your capability to develop) and then proceed to twin engine flagship. Tldr-Why did your country go directly to a twin engine flagship rather not a workhorse to replace the liability F-16 which Americunts are holding you by balls. This is a genuine question not trolling.

They were aiming for an F-35 and TFX mix for their airforce and then khalifa Erdogan screwed everything up with ordering S400. So with US playing the hard ball in supplying F16s and greeks getting F35s turks have no other option than to rely on Khan.

They suffer from bipolar disorder. First they went through all that trouble to buy S-400 and establish a good relationship with Russia. Souring relations with US in the process and getting kicked from the JSF program. Then they did a total 180 and started supplying drones to Ukraine from past obligations owing to by part past tech sharing from Ukrainian companies and America's pressure. Now they have their S-400 battalions that Russia won't send spares for, which certainly means they'll be reverse engineered soon. And they still never got reinstated to the JSF program. They still wanted Pratt & Whitney engines for their KAAN, but US congress blocked that nonsense immediately. All they have access to right now are the inadequate F110 engines they kit assemble in Turkey. And they somehow roped in Saab to help make an AESA radar for their F-16s because Pentagon has been dilly dallying with providing an OEM upgrade. They were so overconfident of riding on the waves of NATO tech sharing and hired expertise, their "fifth gen" bird is the largest and heaviest fighter in the world. A country that has never produced a modern fighter before, and didn't even have proper engines ready to power it. Much less the myriad of subsystems on the mercy of European OEMs.

Another copefest. you really know nothing. whatever.

you poor souls need to know one thing. these products you say "of foreign origin" can be produced, further developed and exported to whomever the fuck we want(including its technologies). that should be your concern.

Further on, I will not be replying to any disingenuous, malintent posts. I'll be just sharing the news and move on.

We saw that when you tried to export your knock off attack helos to pakistanis 🤡. We should be concerned about turks when we are having clashes with a super power on our border that has an MIC that can give yanks a run for their money. Our states have bigger population than your country buddy and after some time they will have a bigger economy also. So know your place in the future pecking order.

Really, afterall the thing I typed not trolling this is what you can come up with?. Iam gonna troll now. Buddy, reviving past glory is okay. But that should be scientifically, not Militarily. Imported Engineers-Imported Sub-Components and Imported designs not gonna make you a Superpower or your Erdoggy Ottomon Empire(Whatever its worth its merely a barbaric empire unlike Civilizational empires of China,India,Japan or European), you guys never invented anything and appropriated every thing from others. Not a single world class scientist or engineer or even a invention despite all the access you had to Europe and NATO. While we were under colonialism with gutter level economy we had Nobel prize winners in Science, while we are a post colonial poor socialist country in 1980s, we were exporting Supercomputers to Russia,Germany etc. Indians maul turkey birds. Your country gained Independence some 30 years ago of India with all headstart with access to NATO and Europe and still couldn't come up with SSBN, Nuclear Reactors, Rockets, Satellites, Pharmacy. Iam gonna give you one advice, its okay to have aspirations to be a superpower but that should be based on your founding father "Ataturk" principle, not barbaric empire like Ottomans based on religion.

TULGAR - ASELSAN
Indigenous my ass. Kopin Corporation of USA is supplying the high quality AMLCD microdisplay and the HUD software package for this helmet, which itself looks like a downgraded fork of the F-35's helmet. R&D work subcontracted to Collins Aerospace. Package put together by BAE it looks like, since the finished product looks similar to BAE's past bids.
