Is Turkey resorting to some sort of data fudging? Here's the recent Q3 GDP report by TurkStat (their national statistical office). Look that the 3rd quarter. And as I've said before, Turkey just like Pakistan has stagnated.

Average household income was 76,733 Turkish Lira. 2021 average exchange rate $1=8.9 Lira. Which means average household income of $8620 in 2021.

Their annual growth in average household income for this year is yet to come, but if I had to make a hyper optimistic scenario of a whopping 20% growth in average household income (which has never occured in a decade, max being 16.5% in 2019) it turns out at 92,000 Lira i.e. $5542 in 2022 (in a highly optimistic scenario since we can't be sure about the numbers).

So maybe to cover this up, they're resorting to data fudging to show better stats to the people. People can correct me.

Why are we so worried about Turkey all of the sudden? Prithviraj Syndrome just forces us to be benevolent to our enemies when they will use such an opportunity to degrade and hurt us even more.

Here Turkey is helping ISI to counter us, trying to send Syrian fighters to Kashmir, and funding JeM/LeT to hurt us, and we are sending them aid ?

You know what Turkey would have done if we faced such an Earthquake? They would have printed media articles on how our infrastructure is inadequate and unsafe, how corruption and Hindu nationalism in India are creating weaker homes and sent money to madrassas and terrorist organizations in the guise of earthquake aid to fuel militancy in India.

Just realized how worse off Turkey is in front of even Pakistan lol.
Their external debt to GDP ratio is much worse than poopistan
Their annual current account deficit to GDP ratio is the much more than pakistan

I wonder how this country even survives when pakis tend to go to IMF for begging bowl every year? Oh the "filthy" Arabs send Turkey free money regularly (a luxury Pakistan no longer enjoys).

^^^Mind you these GDP per capita figures recently released are made by taking paki population to be 217 million (can be crosschecked by dividing their claimed GDP data of $341 billion by their claimed GDP per capita) and not 256+ million people as per recent latest paki census data which will push it down to around $1330.



In the case of Turkey. At least I'll say pakis performed better since Turkcels are stagnated since 2007 while pakis since the early 2010s .

Long story short, people generally mock Pakistan as being the begging bowl of the world and an international beggar living off paycheque to paycheque on alms. But the reality is that Turkey is an even bigger beggar than Pakistan, which just happens to be a much richer version of it. If Arabs stop giving alms to Turkey we'll see similar scenes in Turkey as we recently saw in Pakistan over basic food items no caps.


Don't believe me? Look at this. It is a ticking timebomb less talked about.

For comparison, India's external debt to GDP ratio has remained constant at around 20±% for more than a decade. Here aren't talking about the rise in external debt, but external debt as % of GDP!

Nearly half their forex reserves are currency swaps not hard USD .

Under the sane leadership of Modi, our external debt to GDP ratio has remained constant, our forex reserves rising, inflation is under control, the trade deficit getting under control (hopefully trade surplus soon ), not playing with the exchange rate unless necessary and politics transitioned to infrastructure and investment more than making India "muh socialist paradise".
