opsec......arjun - 1,600 l of fuel taken, but where are fuel tanks? There are two additional in hull rear, where are more? Most obvious place to mount them are over track sponsons.
Any thoughts?

About modification. I read about only one modification made for Kuwaiti M1A2's, these are... additional mud guards mounted to hull rear.Western tanks operate nearly unmodified in all climates (e.g. the Leopard 2 and the M1 Abrams),
Perhaps this.Or it was mainly within the rule "who cares, just start production"?
Will never be revealed. IA's opsec laws are draconian. Maybe will be revealed after a decade or two after the tank is phased out.:thumb:But what with Army tests (state tests?)? IMHO besides manufacturer/designers tests, there also should be performed very difficult Army/State tests.
Russian defence industry exists for India, not Russia. They will sell anything to us, their best stuff included.Unless it was mainly political decision. And what about T-90MS? India officials had opportunity to see vehicle, talk with it's design team leader... UVZ officials also probably talked about heavy tracked platform "Armata" that also possibly will be offered for export.
No sir that is not the caseWill never be revealed. IA's opsec laws are draconian. Maybe will be revealed after a decade or two after the tank is phased out.:thumb:

Yeah, You are right. BTW any news in India about work on Arjun assault bridge version? There were informations that brigde will be designed in Poland, and Arjun hull specification might be send to Poland, or maybe our specialists will visit India to gather needed informations. How this looks like on the India side? Will never be revealed. IA's opsec laws are draconian. Maybe will be revealed after a decade or two after the tank is phased out.

1) Did India asked for everything that Russia can offer? If not then what would be the point for Russians to lost time for promotion if India would rather pursue own development? No sir that is not the case
In fact some time back in Pak fa thread YOU had said that the Best Russian EW systems are NOT
sold to us so we went for Israeli and French sub systems
Secondly why are we struggling with developing Agni missiles and Arihant subs
Let us just throw money and get the TOPOL and the Akulas
Hmm. No. When MKI was configured the Russians did not have much. I was talking about MKM, which came well after MKI hit production. No sir that is not the case

Akulas, we do have em. International treaties restrict Topol export. We would have purchased 1500Km cruise missiles for our Talwar class ships and Kilo class subs if it wasn't for MTCR. Brahmos would have had 800Km range too.Secondly why are we struggling with developing Agni missiles and Arihant subs

If Russians are willing to sell us their best then we can hope to see that stuff in the Super 30 mki upgradesHmm. No. When MKI was configured the Russians did not have much. I was talking about MKM, which came well after MKI hit production.

Damian was talking about a tank which is a 4th generation tank, or the F-22 of the tank world. It is called the Object 195. Seems it is open for export to, most likely, India.Russia's latest modified T 90 tank ie T 90 AM is for export customers ie mainly India
Yeah. we will see stuff they cannot even hope to induct with their budget. If Russians are willing to sell us their best then we can hope to see that stuff in the Super 30 mki upgrades
If Russia violates MTCR, then US will follow suit, followed by China. We don't need MIRV technology anyway. Let's not forget we hold the world record for max number of satellite launches in a single launch. And I feel Russians are being too rigid if they do nt give us the latest MIRV technology
because of MTCR
He is an idiot. Don't believe him. Also on Prasoon Sengupta's blog he has said that Brahmos block 3 will have a bigger range than 290 km
Russia cannot do anything about it. They have no intention of holding back India anyway.Russia does nt want India to become stronger than china
Hence this hesitation of NOT sharing their latest strategic technology
Only stuff we cannot make currently. But we perseverant people if nothing else we will keep asking for the goodies
This contradicts with your earlier point of Russia not willing to make India stronger than China. And given the fact that the growing Chinese power is a source of concern for even Russia
we can see some relaxations for us in future
