Imagine a MICA mssile once integrated with Super Sukhoi MKI then it will become a killing machina, a MICA can pull off 50Gs!!!
Par ye super Sukhoi aayega kab??
Dafuq i hv been hearing the talks of super Sukhoi since a decade.. now even tejas mk1a has a timeline nd date of induction... However surprisingly there's no timeline of much required MLU of IAF's most numerous fighter type..

The reason why you’re hearing about Super Sukhoi upgrade because it was a future programme. 20 years have passed, and we need a MLU.

For those who think su30 engine upgrade is needed.
It is but not if it is AL 41 for the price quoted. May be in next decade we can offer our own engine or the Su 57 next gen engine derated to fit Su 30.

Also the upgrades will Take a decade to materialise and happen going by the pace things have been going on .

That's great. No change in engine makes su30 upgrade faster and cheaper.

Su30mki has been getting new weapons constantly bramhos missile to Astra mk1 and ngram all have been tested.

Irst , dual color maws ,new ew pods all at advanced stages of development and with uttam maturing fast. A powerful aesa radar is all that is left for su30mki to become undefeatable beast.

It doged aim120 without flinching now with a jam proof aesa and new ew suits and pods it will eat f16s for breakfast lunch and dinner. Lol.

In a decade i will be happy if the engine for amca is ready forget about indigenous engine for anything else .....money is the biggest problem we have everything on al31 ...an engine upgrade will mean all that will go out of the door and we will have to shell out billions again to get the know how for the upgrade

Engine upgrade is simply not required. Su30 already has sufficient power and more than enough payload upwards 8 tons. Anymore is anyway useless.

Even with new radar and avionics even if weight is increased a bit it doesn't change anything overall.
