How many of this beauty in service with the Russian airforce? And how many on order?

SU-57 is a dead project in the long-run.1 in Service, 3 LSP to join this year, 76 on Order for Russia
16-18 approx on order for Algeria
I agree with what you said. The SU-57 is a stealth Aircraft but it's stealth cannot match the stealth of Planes like F-22 Raptor or the F-35 Lighting Fighter Aircraft as well. Russians Very much have the Capacity and Capability to Build a True Stealth Fighter Aircraft which can in some way rival the F-22 Raptor etc. But what the Russians lack is "Funds" that's what they Lack in my opinion.SU-57 is a dead project in the long-run.
The Russians need partner countries to share the project costing. Algeria and Vietnam will definitely buy them but not to the extent required. Russia's best bet was to agree to our terms and we would have stayed in the program and built an FGFA that looked more like the larger version of the stealthy AMCA rather the Su-57's riveted, angular design. I am no stealth master but look at this picture below:

Compare it to the underbelly of the final AMCA model designed:

Sure Su-57 is an excellent 4.5+ generation aerial sniper, but do you truly think it was a 5th generation fighter at par the F-22?
The Su-75 CHECKMATE looks more stealthy than 57.
I am not saying that we are superior to the Russians in aerospace manufacturing; they are leagues ahead of us. But what they lack is the resources and planning partnership for a stable, sustainable program. Sucking up to the Chinese who copy their designs and cheat them out while being rigid with us continues to be Russia's biggest mistakes in strategic partnership.
Personally, I'd say that Su-57 offers a better balance of characteristics than F-22 or F-35 do.I agree with what you said. Yeah that's your opinionPersonally, I'd say that Su-57 offers a better balance of characteristics than F-22 or F-35 do.
Yes I agree with your statement that :Personally, I'd say that Su-57 offers a better balance of characteristics than F-22 or F-35 do.
To be fair, I never really thought that The SU-57 was a true 5th Generation Aircraft which could rival and try and be on Parity with True 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft like the American F-35 and F-22 Raptor to be Frank.Sure Su-57 is an excellent 4.5+ generation aerial sniper, but do you truly think it was a 5th generation fighter at par the F-22?
today it is not worth its price but, in future when they will complete the izdeliye 30 engine, it will be the best 4.5+ gen aircraft.IMO su57 aint worth the price.
Su 75, if it comes at the same price as touted, is miles ahead of f-22, f-35 as a package. You could buy 5 su 75 for the same price as a f35, and quantity has a quality of its own.
Su 57 focuses too much on things like sustained turn rate, only useful in a dogfight. IMO 5th gen fighters shouldnt be built like that.
To be fair. Most of these Russian Weopons and Defence programs Are Always stuck because of Lack of funds.Lack of Fundz
If stealth works, they have to be built for dogfight because that is the only way they will be able to fight each other.IMO su57 aint worth the price.
