Basically the Su 34 Designed to attack NATO countries Missiles Shield..They need better bomber and low-low-low Flying Bomber need to do this ..So Su 34 is a Master piece for Russians

for India We don't have Enemies like US ..one is dumb another is duck so our Fighters are enough to face any provocations from our Dumb and Duck

Check post no 44 by @gadeshi Already stat about this

It is a professional oppinion from russian specs that new Chinese bomber (and 5-gen fighters as well) will walk in a diapers at least 15 years to come
However, China has mass-numbered AD. It is not as far sophisticated like Soviet or Russian but it is enough for India to consider SEAD/DEAD mission forces just in case when you'll need to give little yellow men a good lesson

. Think about it. Russia is inducting 48 Su-35, 60 Su-30SM, possibly 24 Mig-35 and around ~124 Su-34. That's ~250 modern aircraft. In our case we plan on 270 MKIs, ~200 Rafales and around 130 LCA Mk2s. That's ~600 modern aircraft with at least 80 MKIs initially of the Super Sukhoi standard. We don't need the Su-34. Our funds can be focussed on FGFA instead.

124 Su 34..that's huge..why they goes for massive Number of Fighter/bomber instead of more T 50 or Su 35

I think Russians get these Packages around 2017 to 2020..but we 2025 or 2030

VVS has a lot of older upgraded Su-27s while Su-24s need replacement.

Let's not forget PAKFA.

Bareilly, Adampur, Leh yes, but not Pune... AFAIK

Our largest underground hangars are in Pune and Bareilly. At least what we know of in open source.

the US would have to start making new A-10s. All the ones in their current fleet were used extensively in the Iraq/Afghan wars, I don't see them selling any.

That being said, it shouldn't be a big leap for India to design a badass gigantic gun and put a plane around it.

That's right. I believe, the production line is till open, if not active because USAF/USMC wants A-10's to be available till 2040, anyway.

Somehow, I do not see any dedicated strike fighters or even CAS aircrafts in IAF for next few decades. Only multi-roles.

Well, there are a few more semi-protected/camouflages ones on Tibet borders. But there isn't much point in talking about. It's inconsequential because we need many more hardened shelters & above all, a modern air-defence umbrella.

We need 12 of Tu-160 BlackJack, that will send massage loud and clear, BTW these SU 34 they are good but if SFC get them, they will be easily spotted in airfields and enemy will know what is coming to them. Same is case with Black jack.
RUSSIA will not sell TU-160 to anybody, however the SU-34 does have a good place as a plane of choice for the SFC

Real-time integration of air defense with enhanced Satellite capabilities will boost a side's chances in the coming wars. All that assuming one has a good arsenal of missiles. It all boils down to that in the end.
Su34 is speculated to have a Sat Com antenna, which makes even more sense because the bomber's varied ammo included satellite-guided precision munitions and its electronic-optical BREO complex includes a Sat Nav system among other things.
