this can be practically achieved on any rifle design given you either (A) elongate its receiver length to such an extent that the bolt carrier barely slaps its rear end; as in case of Ultimax LMG or (B) do A part but also put a stronger recoil spring that absorbs most of the recoil so maybe you can keep the receiver a bit shorter and at same time the slap from bolt carrier during reciprocal motion is still dampened a lot;
and meanwhile you also keep in mind managing centre of mass (and in some extent gravity too) near the grip;
lastly rate of fire should be managed moderate, near 500 to 550 rounds per minute;
and you're good to go; nothing new

@Johny_Baba you see anything new or is this the same old one? (Pic is new)
Short Stroke Piston instead of Direct Impingement/ Gas Piston based AR design.
what i saw new was
- probably newer furniture, i mean buttstock at least
- newer flip-up style backup iron sights

what i am not sure about it, or not believing in claims as of yet
- short stroke gas piston system in place of DI;
now look it can be done on regular DI AR based rifles by swapping some parts like gas key, gas tube attachment to some sort of SS Gas Piston system etc;
but such kind of straight conversions are not advised for military applications because many of these kits are unconsistent in delivering performances; you do need a bit thicker rod on it and in turn it requires top section of the receiver to be increased in height etc; that is why HK416 and so top receiver are generally taller as on those ones their respective developers put proper SS Gas Piston systems with thicker enough rods and so

so yeah, observe these two pics above and compare with what they shown at below and ponder on everything yourself

Also should use the standard stanag mags
you mean these aluminium US GI mags ?

I'd rather not advise for same, because these mags are freakin' bad reliability wise; in almost all rifles that is not AR-15 based things it has shown one or other kind of problems;
that was reason why FN guys adopted their own fork of same when they made FNC; which one's in steel and slightly more curved than this;
1697564787426.png

that was reason why H&K guys themselves forked out their own one which interestingly similar to FNC one was made of steel too but with Bolt Hold Open feature and even more curved than FN one;
1697564914691.png

that was reason H&K guys also advised UK Royal Army to switch to PMags in L85A2 and from on as those mags were far more better for gas piston system rifle like L85 series...

also;
STANAG is just a standard, as long as they maintain basic features (features like feed-lips, feeding geometry, that notch on left side for locking tab etc) that make such a magazine fit on any STANAG-compatible rifle it's deemed fine; but otherwise construction and QC QA etc also alter performance of same...
PMAG are cheaper and most affluent in modern world and are fine; for more durability one can opt HK style steel magazines but going back to aluminium US GI pattern mags should be avoided in newer rifles

look how dey made a former combloc SMG like PM-63 RAK to something like this, starting from here

to this one
1697733576406.png

from what i know it's still going to be open bolt for now but plan is to turn it into closed bolt hammer fired gun with AR style trigger group in place of PM-63's original dropping sear one; and with a proper receiver frame and buttstock it'll be far more controllable than original PM-63 ever was
