I really wish IAF diversify their special operations force into different categories like the USAF!!

It seems that IAF (manpower ~ 1.7L) will dump the Insas en-masse in favor of AK series rifles. Among them, first 70k will be AK-103 and the rest will be AK-203.
Garuds on the other hand, will continue to have Tavors, and some Sig-716s.

You expect sense from IDRW? Who knows dude, Russians sold AK-103M to Porkis in the name of AK-103 and sold AK-103M to us in the name of AK-203. Same might be the case between the orders of Army and Airforce.

imao russkis could have bought ak 74 upgrade kit(practically ak 203 furniture) but putin wanted ak 12(which is just what as you said ak 74 refurbished dhamaka)since the ori ak 12 was too expensive for russian Mod but Russian Mod took left turn and buy a more expensive ak 12(The latest one) really peculiar

Nope. Ours is radical redesign of top cover, to allow top rail mounted optics to work reliably.
Rest essentially AK-103 with extended safety.

Is a sig716 with 12-13inch barrel config possible with holo or mepro optics? Me thinks will be very effective in semi built up areas with probably RR, Airborne, SFs or ghatala.

Some people prefer to use the combination of holo and iron sights

I'm extremely sorry sir, but after wasting a considerable time of my life in small arms; I don't consider a pin in place of a tab a radical redesign.

Not a radical redesign of the firearm, but radical redesign of the cover. I saw a lot of changes (pin vs tab, lever intsead of push tab ). I could be wrong though.
