@AVINASH4061 sir, if I’m not wrong you have taken part in joint exercises with the MARCOS, if you fired each other’s weapons I’m sure you’d have fired the AK103 they use. How is it accuracy and recoil wise? Considering most likely our AK 203s have been watered down to AK 103Ms, are they suitable enough quality wise versus other AKs like Bulgarian or Romanian ones?

IAF doesn't need these many AK 203. They have very few airmen who are deployed as base security.

Most of these are for IA. The reporter messed up.
IAF, CAPFs, maybe. We’ll see in November.

CAPF use Trichy Assault Rifle and Arsenal AKs. Even 50,000+ Ghatak AKM have been ordered.

Whatever the AK 203 can do, TAR can do better.
The AK-203 we getting is not AK-203 anyways, so no point discussing it here, just another AK-47 with Polymer furniture will serve us for next 20 years.

I also support AK-203, It’s barrel life as per Vlad has been tested upto fuckin 50,000 rounds and beyond that testing never happened.
How dare you question the unlimited knowledge and intelligence of MoD and armed forces combined.
it only when it's a homegrown product you need to put it through trials from moon to Mars.

If ofb starts offering kickbacks, you can see army going indigenous weapons, in most cases, procurement gets delayed because mod and army fails to reach any agreement regarding profit sharing, it's sad but true.

Selling same gun in different packaging since 1947, ruskies.
Wrong, the AK 203 they proposed to us was damn good. It is us who went for the plain vanilla version.
Btw AK 47 is rugged, reliable and is preferred over the modern 'INSAS' which OFB shoved down IA throat :)
Accept it sometimes problem is with us also.
