Indian Army does not want AKs, if Galil Ace Gen-II is selected even for 7.62x39, I’ll be more than happy. Or even AK-15 would be great but AK-203 and that too watered down is a big joke and embarrassment.Ig it failed army trials and AK203 is more of a political decision imo than IA decision
TAR is not yet field tested by Army.Ig it failed army trials and AK203 is more of a political decision imo than IA decision
Most likely in Defence expo 2022 (if completed).SSSD Is working on an AR-15 Type rifle, and when will they release it? Once Indian Army has all small arms requirements met?
They are focussed more on US civilian Market than India. Most likely in Defence expo 2022 (if completed).
AR-15 type rifle is the most easiest of any rifle to develop, owing to the fact that its design is public, and in the American civilian fire-arms market all of its parts are individually available.
Logical move by SSSD. Because Indian defence market is unpredictable, takes lot of testing, no guarantee any gun will be inducted even after years of testings etc. They are focussed more on US civilian Market than India.
They’ll end up coming with a prototype after all deals are done and sulk as usual saying no one’s giving them a chance.SSSD Is working on an AR-15 Type rifle, and when will they release it? Once Indian Army has all small arms requirements met?
