Friend !

What is the difference between Galil and Insas ?

Insas:

Weight with Magazine is 4kgs.
Range: 400m With ss109 5.56mm Nato Round..
Optics only OFB for now..

Operators: Nepal, Bhutan, Oman..
Besides we like TAR-21..

insas is pretty good and if it is replaced it should be done by drdo developed bullpup designed multi calibre assault rifle which looks very similar to fn-2000

less Weight,AK grad reliability, better ergonomics, compatibility with all gadgets , but still cheap
but hey if you can afford 500, 000 TAR-21 carbines we will happily comply

an FN-2000 clone will coat more the tavor because the original gun FN-2000 coat twice more then
the going rate for tavor why waste such absurd amounts of money

AK grad relaibelity ? 5.56mm ? No..

but still cheap ? Is it less than 450$..

Galil is same as Insas no difference, We like tar-21 coz its bullpup, accurate and reliable..

As combat rations we get nuts and roti to eat mostly !

Can opner barbed wire cutter can be done with the given bayonet..

it comes in 5.56 or 7.62 regardless the reliability comes from the shooting mechanism not the bullet

galil ace will coast 700$ (made in Israel) compared to 1200$ for tavor (optics excluded )
if you make it on mass in India it will coast much less
maybe even less then your 450$ mark

Insas can also be use in water, But IA rules conducts dont allow as its a 5.56mm which require more maintenance than AK-47..

Insas not only use long range 5.56 rounds but also have longer Barrel compare to Galil..

We use AK-47/103 for marine conditions, And we ( Regulars ) love Iron Sight..

Do Galil comes in 7.62m43 ?

galil comes with 7.62 / 39 (models 31 32 ) Russian or 7.62 / 51 NATO (models 52 53 )
or 5.56 / 45 NATO (models 21 22 23 )
the bigger the number the longer the Barrel in that bullet family
BTW all Israeli guns have iron sights (tavor included )

look price of gun is important but the soldier's requirement is also important.and speaking of price, indian army is very large so any gun will be mass produced and the cost will automatically come down.ak-47 is still one of the most formidable assault rifle's in the world.it cost some $15 in the arms bazaar in mogadishu.still every nation is wasting huge about of money in designing and developing assault rifles instead of adding optics to the ak-47.hence in my opinion multi-cal assault rifle(fn-2000 clone) is the right step ahead for the indian army and drdo.

nice weapon...can you tell why there is two optics in the weapon?kunal sir why they had developed cz805 as vz58 is a fine weapon with light weight, better accuracy and low maintenance?is it only due to meet the standards of NATO ie 5.56 caliber for small arms?
also please name the bullup shown below
