This means that the price had nothing to do with operating system, they straightaway quoted 990 dollars per rifle from 1399 earlier.SiG716i is 1399 per rifle in the US.
Sig wants to be the new colt.if they win NGSW they are gonna dominate fire arm industryThis means that the price had nothing to do with operating system, they straightaway quoted 990 dollars per rifle from 1399 earlier.
It’s weight is a big issue though, ARAD weighs just 2.85 kg despite being a gas operated rifle.Sig wants to be the new colt.if they win NGSW they are gonna dominate fire arm industry
It's weight is just 0.1kg over the limit, it isn't going to make much of a difference as its only a minor issue, only thing stopping the Sig MCX is cost. Every AR 15 based platform(CAR 816, Arad etc) have a bigger flaw as per RFI due to lack of a folding stock. It’s weight is a big issue though, ARAD weighs just 2.85 kg despite being a gas operated rifle.
What’s the point I can’t get with foldable stocks, this fetish is awful, they want adjustable stocks for battle rifles but want them fixed in assault rifles and carbines? It's weight is just 0.1kg over the limit, it isn't going to make much of a difference as its only a minor issue, only thing stopping the Sig MCX is cost. Where is it said they want fixed stocks? What’s the point I can’t get with foldable stocks, this fetish is awful, they want adjustable stocks for battle rifles but want them fixed in assault rifles and carbines?
Uska hi batadeHe meant IWI Arad.
Virtus is the second generation of mcxAlso the Sig MCX is called the SIG MCX Virtus on their website? Is Virtus an accessories manufacturer?
Could explain the slightly higher cost as some commission has to be given to Sig MCX Virtus for sales.
Maybe the price is lesser if they use stock furniture?
Thanks for clarifying.Virtus is the second generation of mcx
That is what you’ll get, I’ve never seen foldable and adjustable stock in my life apart from the AK-203.Where is it said they want fixed stocks?
In some articles it specifically says 800mm in foldableArmy RFI mentions collapsible stock, not folding stock. A 10" barrel Ar-15 pattern rifle will meet the desired length criteria in collapsed and extended stock.
Also, army should release the entire requirement of 3 Lac carbines, not just 93k FTP RFP. It's been 3 years since the original FTP RFP was done.
Will start by end of this Year as it takes an year to manufacture and deliver them.Has the fauj got it's second supply of SIG's
800 mm extended and some 650 mm in collapsed, lol.In some articles it specifically says 800mm in foldable
