True, but this capability is honed and grown over time. What now?
Russians have lost a lot of material and men. They have to fight smart now. In my opinion:
I think the first thing that Russia needs to do is blow up the entire power grid of Ukraine. Then blow up every train station, train yard and train control centers across the country. You can only transport so much through roads, and even there you have the task of blowing up connecting bridges. Long term logistics for Ukrainians are gone.
The second thing - blow up all the communication centers(relays, communication towers, transmit/receive dishes, ..). Communications blackout, enemy can not coordinate at long levels until they repair those units, and Starlink can not provide communications en masse.
The third thing would be to actually train and equip the mobilized. Body bags don't help overtake the enemy positions..
I think by doing this to some effect, they can reverse the situation around. I think the soldiers on the ground are better aware and have more situational awareness, so somehow the needs of the soldiers need to be able to be heard on the top, by officials who are not appointed by nepotism or bribery. This is difficult to achieve, but Russians will have to accept this and turn the situation around, or they will suffer a humiliating defeat.. Lyman is gone and with it, maybe the LPR too, soon.
