I’m not talking about the end. I’m talking about the initial thrust on September 6th, 1965.

We started strong and had hit Dograi and Batapur by 7th itself. In just a day. However, Desmond Hayde was getting airstuck by PAF and IAF was nowhere to be seen. We couldn’t precisely hold our gains becuase of the poor coordination, and ended up having to withdraw. Luckily, we took our gains back through sheer determination.
