They are built to fight inferior adversaries in Africa,ME and Asia.

You will never built a 70 tons tank to fight in mud and snow. Russians have never built heavier Tanks because they know where is their priority.

It was a chatter that NATO tanks were urban queens and they were designed considering the terrain of Eestern European nations where decent infra and terrain was a given.
Other than that it seems like Ukrainains are just throwing in men and machine in the grinder.

Western heavy tanks of 1980s were developed to face the Soviet army in central and Western Europe. they were meant to fight from dug in and from hull down position. Therefore they have very heavily armoured turret & front. Apart from that their armour is relatively weak. They are also supposed to have good electronics, night fighting capability and very high accuracy.

All this is useless against artillery, mines and guided ATGMs. If Russians hold their nerves, then they will be difficult to be driven back. last week Skirmishes would have given lot of confidence to Russian soldiers and they will become more resolute.

All those are expensive...can only be justified if used against HVT instead to four person foxholes.

But the confusing question is, where are all the FPV drones? They had thousands of them, the whole Chinese supply chain was exhausted, just four days prior they're so effectively engaging everything from Scooby doo vans to Pantsirs...why are they missing?

West has burnt all bridges and Now Negotiation with Russia will be as hard as fighting war today in Ukraine.

Negotiations with Ukraine is meaningless, Russia will not negotiate with Ukraine, this is NATO which have to negotiate.

1) Mariupol, which they already lost.
2) Melitopol, Which they have been trying to reach through Zheporozhiya.
Until Ukraine reach one of this point it's chance to winning this war remain Zero.
