Well then, India has returned the favor by "saving" Russia, by helping Russia economically by buying Russian energy, and standing up to US pressure.. Also, helping with various sanctions evasion measures via UAE..

Idealogically Chinese and soviet union never split relations may have soured and border issues existed
but it wasn't a big deal as it would be today. Chinese used the split as an opportunity
