No folks Wing Co. did the right thing and he had every reason to, they had just bombed a target, he didn't know if there were casualties, the F-16 fires a missile at his wingman, now if this doesn't piss off any respectable flying officer in the IAF, I don't know what else would. He saw the kill and went for it. Herogiri is not what we did in time of danger, it's what we did inspite of danger unto certain death.
He will be back home, restored to full health, if found fit enough to fly again he is bound be on a shiny new bird probably a Brahmos capable MKI or the Rafale. We also forget the badass Wingman who is perhaps the only known pilot in these times to have a dodged a Aim-120 C-5 in a rusty Bison. Hopefully this guy get's a upgrade to a new jet too and he can play wingman with Wing Co.
It is an absolute delight to know that our pilots are making the most out of decades old equipment. With new kit, Pukis and Chinks don't stand a chance. It is also wonderful to display this sheer audacity, guts and resolve to kill the enemy. This is the stuff that puts fear into PAF.
