Who the fuck are you!

What do you know about professionalism? What do you know about marching and parade?

Every nation has its culture. And every armed forces need the support of its people. Attari border ceremony does instill a sense of nationalism and pride in laymen who visits there. It doesn't mean that BSF is not professional, but it means that a subtle show of force and sense of rivalry is maintained.

Btw, try showing books to the sky like our boys do. You'd learn how easy that is to do.
No need to be harsh on our compatriots brother. He has expressed his thoughts, if you do not agree, say that and explain why you feel so.

Abhi shot a state of the art F16 with outdated Mig21
Any concrete evidence to back this? The Pak jingoists I'm fighting with online refuse to concede that one of their F-16 was brought down - saying it's lies whipped up by our media :biggrin2: They also claiming we lost 2 Bisons and 2nd bison pilot is KIA

Don't like it don't go.

Many others enjoy the ceremony and the shenanigans that go with it.

I personally see it no different to the rubbish we see in Western capitals- Change of guard at Buckingham palace win those garish suits, or the parades that happen in various cities.

Good chance for tourists to see the border and idiots on the other side. Does a lot to open brainwashed eyes and minds.
Not the same as changing of the guards etc since that is purely internal. This is a bilateral ceremony with Pakistan and one which equates the two.

In engagement, sometimes one can get tangled up. In a matter of 2-3 seconds, one can travel over a kilometer and that is very difficult to control all of a sudden. So, he is not liable for court marshal. He may have broken formation but in LOC where battle is demarcated by thin line boundary it is difficult to have all these in mind while acting in a matter of seconds
Whatever he did was heroic but this must not be an encouragement for the future situations of pilots to break formation and put countries in emergency like situation.

At most pakis can do is cancel today's hand over of WC, as they may not get optics right and to put pressure on GOI through 5th Column! This is the best pakis can do in current situation!

Lots of evidence available on this thread itself. As for online keyboard yahoos, they still believe they won 1971. Need I say more??:india::india:

agree...i was wrong about "professional" comments...

could we at least tone it down to simply close the gate and go to positions while saying bye bye to colourful uniforms, shouting and kicking grouunds etc. and arming our guards to teeth with hi tech gear like this one...
Maybe we can create a new force unit who can continue the entertainment from the ministry of silly walks leaving the BSF out to do more boring jobs - everybody wins.

I was talking to a Pakistani guy, who was from airforce college in Pakistan, about complete Pulwama incident. It is nice to know their side of the story.

Shooting down a F-16 by a Mig is no mean affair, but still discipline must be maintained. We really don't know what the RoE were and if order was floated, perhaps a wrap on the knuckle would do.

Do you trust our services or paki jhingos? There is enough evidence of paki F16 going down! Videos being circulated, pound them with that. Time made paki take their dead soldiers back, they will accept this too. Also, pakis have already admited there is no 2nd crash of MIG 21, coroborating what our services have been saying. Counter them, ask them for official statements not fanboism!

Pound them with how advanced F16 got shot by Mig 21 and see them squirm! :biggrin2:

Can someone please clarify me here . Is wagah border the only route indian and pakistan can use for any human exchange ? Why cant we send one of those fucking private jets we have and bring him back . Why all these media drama . Sending Wg Cdr walk through Wagah border is purely in paki propaganda theatrics which liberals will show as peace gesture of IK. We should simply bring him back in midnight flight if not through wagah border

And shut the peaceniks with this below pic if they are over celebrating IK

Pakistan is like a crazy girl that will not miss an opportunity for getting a selfie whenever given the opportunity.

There will be media present at Wagah border. Pakistan wouldn't miss that opportunity.

No folks Wing Co. did the right thing and he had every reason to, they had just bombed a target, he didn't know if there were casualties, the F-16 fires a missile at his wingman, now if this doesn't piss off any respectable flying officer in the IAF, I don't know what else would. He saw the kill and went for it. Herogiri is not what we did in time of danger, it's what we did inspite of danger unto certain death.

He will be back home, restored to full health, if found fit enough to fly again he is bound be on a shiny new bird probably a Brahmos capable MKI or the Rafale. We also shouldn't forget the badass Wingman who is perhaps the only known pilot in these times to have a dodged a Aim-120 C-5 in a rusty Bison. Hopefully this guy get's a upgrade to a new jet too and he can play wingman with Wing Co.

It is an absolute delight to know that our pilots are making the most out of decades old equipment. With new kit, Pukis and Chinks don't stand a chance. It is also wonderful to display this sheer audacity, guts and resolve to kill the enemy. This is the stuff that puts fear into PAF.

Time will tell. Slap in the wrist maybe.

At present, celebrate WC Abhi shot a state of the art F16 with outdated Mig21, an impossible feat! This says a lot about paki pilots and their training, and our own pilot's skills and training.

The narrative is changing, pakis are sulking! Keep up the ante bros!
It reminds me of a quote of Guru Gobind Singh:-

Chidian De Naal Baaz Larava, Tabhe Gobind Singh Naam Kahava.

Only when i make birds fight hawks, will I call myself Gobind Singh.
