Could be another terror attack. Developing story.
Explosion, gunshots heard near Quetta's Imdad Chowk
Dawn.comDecember 17, 2017

An explosion has been reported near Quetta's Imdad Chowk Sunday afternoon.

Police and rescue teams have been dispatched to the site of the incident and there are reports of an ongoing gunfight in the area.

It is unclear what the nature of the explosion was, but its sound was heard in a large radius.

A church and a railway station are located in the vicinity of the area where the explosion occurred.
Every attack outside Punjab is false flag.

Coffins are being packed in pakistan. How come none of those hate mongers ever bear the brunt of this targeted attacks.? They could be the ones committing these crimes themselves along with jihadi Isi.

As long as Arabs have oil, pakistan and other muslim countries will have a low threshold to behave completely arbitrarily.

Others will have to keep a high threshold before reacting

700 billion barrels left with annual consumption 30 billion barrels. So, 2040

But oil production to reserves of all countries are not same. Arab oil will last till 2050 at current production rate. But, other countries production will fall rapidly and economy will tank soon. Since arabs don't have food, how they will manage production to balance world food prices is to be seen

Not quite true. The actual oil reserves on earth have fully not been explored yet. Deeper oil reserves have not been found out yet.
Current oil wells are at surface level, hence drilling and extracting oil is extremely economical. This supply is said to last till 2050-2250 depending on various sources.
The deep you go harder and expensive it is to extract oil.
Oil supply will last a lot longer just it won't be cheap as it is now.

There are no more wells. Almost everything found. We have drilled till 13km underground. There is not much deeper we can go.

The expensive part doesn't even arise. Chanakya couldn't have given 1 ton of gold for 1 barrel if oil. If the EROEI is 1 or less, it is impossible to extract.

You do release oil well is a man made structure over pocket of oil reserve than may be on surface or close to surface. Oil extraction is not about how deep have you drilled but drilling at right location. You can't always drill deep on all location but this keeps changing as technology advances.
As I already said extracting oil from deeper well is expensive, difficult and EROEI analysis is not available at-least on public forum.

All areas have been explored, even Siberia and atlantic. There is nothing left to explore

If you have any misconception of how much oil was there initially, it was 2.3 trillion barrels of extractable oil - 360km^3. Chilika lake has 4km^3 waterin comparison

Plz do not derail every thread wirh Oil. As for Oil exploration of Siberia and North pole has just begun. Only vague estimates of how much oil is there. South China Sea also said to have huge oil reserves. Plus even if oil ends which it will one day World will adapt to gas economy. There is even more gas than there is oil. Electric vehicles tech is soon arriving on the horizon. So economy will trmain oiled one way or another... chill

I don't want to derail the thread... but It's better to argue about the tech that could make oil obsolete.
You will see drastic change in our transportation medium and oil prices in the next 20 years.

Now let's better discuss how we can weaken Pakistan diplomatically, militarily & economically.
Let's discuss how we can increase our influence on OIC when we have 2nd largest Muslim population in the world!

Why do you insist on your theory even without evidence or basis?

Gas economy is difficult as the current oil requirement is 30 billion barrels, gas is 150TCF a year. 1 billion barrel = 6TCF of gas. So, you will need 330 TCF of gas to substitute oil. Gas is also limited - about 7000 TCF. With this heavy consumption, it will only go down.

Another problem with gas is that the Natural gas boiling point is 80-90 Kelvin (-160 celsius). The pressure exerted by gas is also large and necessitates stronger container. So, that will involve a severe margin and waste some of the energy for it.

The definition of your huge oil is merely 1-2 billion barrels in total. That is nothing compared to usage. It is because of oil that Pakistan has leverage over India. Muslims are emboldened into acting insanely without serious consequences and Israel is being regularly abused without justification.

Pakistan can never be weakened diplomatically or economically. It is like asking how to weaken palestine diplomatically or economically. Palestine has nothing worth calling economy or diplomatic clout. That is why I keep speaking of oil everytime.

The only leverage India or non muslims have over muslims is sanity and hence better scientific temper and hence better technology.
