I was thinking of opening a thread here basically asking Pakistanis why they have a problem with Bangladesh having normal relations with India e.g. trade, co-operation etc.

I was going to ask them what counts as a "Puppet state" and what counts as just normal relations, because the way I see it Pakistanis do not want any formal of normal relations between Bangladesh and India even if it is good for us and makes us improve our economy and development, what they want is complete hatred for India by Bangladesh.

I was going to try and engage in some semblance of "rational discussion" with them, but then I realised it would be pointless as all they would do is name call and use the silly slogans and pseudo-arguments they have been brainwashed with from youth including their fanatical hatred of Hindus and India.
Yes,
One cannot expect a rational debate with a Pakistani. They will simply deny everything happening infront of them. Forget about Economy. They even blamed India for current Unrest in their country. What kind of looser . Can't even handle the situation. Every failure of Pakistan will blame their neighbours.

And they used close air support in Zarb e azab
I feel the SSG might've handled the Islamabad Dharma better than the Power Rangers and Pakjab Police...The SSG is good only for riot- controlling....Not 2 mention,Zarb e Azab is also a carried out like a riot control operation with a Hollywood budget, hence the close air support...No wonder even if they use Anti-Aircraft Guns nd Ballistic missiles...Absolute Jokers.

Drone attack in Kurram Agency kills three

KURRAM AGENCY: At least three people were killed in a drone attack in tribal area on a house reportedly belonged to a Taliban commander named Rasheed.

According to details, the drone fired two missiles hitting the compound early Thursday around 4:30 am in the Kurram Agency near Pak-Afghan border.

The identities of those killed remained unclear.

US drone attacks inside Pakistan have become rare over the past few years. Killing of Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour in May 2016 was the last high-profile drone attack inside Pakistan.

US will act if Pakistan does not destroy safe havens: CIA

WASHINGTON: CIA Director Mike Pompeo has warned Pakistan that if it does not eliminate the alleged safe havens inside its territory, the United States will do “everything we can” to destroy them.

As Defence Secretary Jim Mattis arrives in Islamabad on Monday to persuade Pakistan to support the new US strategy for Afghanistan, the Trump administration is sending mixed signals to its estranged ally. The new strategy seeks Pakistan’s support to defeat the Taliban in the battlefield as Washington believes that only a defeat will force them to reconcile with the Afghan government.

Talking to journalists aboard his plane on Sunday, Secretary Mattis said he did not plan to “prod” Pakistan into action because he expected Islamabad to adhere to its promises to combat terrorism.

He disagreed with a journalist who suggested that Mr Mattis might end up “butting heads” with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa when he meets them in Islamabad on Monday on his first visit as the Pentagon chief.

The VOA radio quoted Mr Mattis as telling the journalist that this was not his style. “That’s not the way I deal with issues. I believe that we [can] work hard on finding common ground and then we work together.”

But the CIA director sent a harsher message when asked at the Reagan National Defence Forum in Simi, California, on Saturday how would the Trump administration persuade Pakistan to adhere to its new Afghan strategy.

Mr Pompeo said: “You begin by seeking their assistance.”

The CIA director noted that Secretary Mattis was travelling to Pakistan to “make clear the president’s intent” and “will deliver the message that we would love you to do that. And that the safe haven inside of Pakistan has worked to the detriment of our capacity to do what we needed to do in Afghanistan”.

He then explained how the Trump administration would deal with the situation if Pakistan turned down Washington’s request to destroy safe havens. “In the absence of the Pakistanis achieving that, we are going to do everything we can to make sure that that safe haven no longer exists,” he said.

Since 2004, the CIA has conducted drone strikes in Fata and recent media reports have suggested that the Trump administration may expand those strikes to cover other areas inside Pakistan.

Mr Pompeo’s predecessor, Leon Panetta, also shared with the forum his experience of dealing with Pakistan as the Obama administration’s CIA chief.

“Pakistan has always been a problem. It has been a safe haven for terrorists who cross the border and attack in Afghanistan and go back into Pakistan,” he said.

“We have made every effort possible, during the time I was there, to convince Pakistan to stop it. But Pakistan, as Mike knows, has this kind of two-wedge approach to dealing with terrorism,” he added.

“On one hand, yes, they do not like terrorism, or attacks from terrorism in their country. But at the same time, they don’t mind using terrorism as leverage to deal with Afghanistan and to deal with India.”

Mr Panetta claimed that Pakistan has had this policy since his days at the CIA and that’s why “Pakistan has always been a question mark”.

Referring to US efforts to persuade Pakistan to cooperate, he said: “I hope that Mike (Pompeo) and Jim Mattis are successful in making clear to the Pakistanis that got to be able to see a little broader and they have to go after terrorists within their own territory. Unless that happens, we are going to continue to have problems in Afghanistan.”

The moderator turned to Mr Pompeo and asked if Pakistan’s approach had changed. “Not yet,” said the CIA chief.

But Secretary Mattis, who warned in October that the United States was willing to work “one more time” with Pakistan before taking “whatever steps are necessary” to address its alleged support for militants, did not show the bitterness displayed by the two CIA chiefs.

Instead, he said he was focused on trying to find “more common ground... by listening to one another without being combative.”

USA has grown significantly weak. It is not Trump's fault. USA used to meddle in other countries election while this time, Muslims openly funded Hillary. RSS supported Trump via Republican Hindu Coalition headed by Shalabh Kumar.

USA is going down. Trump or no trump. Democrats were islamists and were far worse

ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf, who earlier came in support of the terror groups like the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and the Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD), has now said that he would welcome an alliance with global terrorist and 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed for the general election in 2018.

This jackass is clutching at straws. He's trying to enter politics even though there are sedition and other serious charges against him. There are a few nondescript parties who he has as allies. He's desperate to rope in more and the only idiots who'll sign in are the extremist parties.

Don't be surprised if he asks the DEP, a conglomeration of 32 extremist/terrorist parties in Pak (like the JeM, LeT, HM etc) to join him too.

Pakistan air force chief order: Shoot down US drones

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Pakistan Air Force chief has ordered his force to shoot down any drones if they entered their airspace.
  • Pakistan had always condemned drone strikes on its soil but had never said they would shoot down the unmanned aerial vehicles.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) chief Sohail Aman said here on Thursday that he has ordered his force to shoot down any drones, including those of the US, if they violate the country's airspace.

The announcement was made public about two weeks after a US drone strike targeted a militant compound in Pakistan's tribal region near the Afghan border, killing three militants.

Pakistan had always condemned drone strikes on its soil but had never said they would shoot down the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). "We will not allow anyone to violate our airspace. I have ordered PAF to shoot down drones, including those of the US, if they enter our airspace, violating the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity," Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman told an audience in Islamabad

If he meant that US missile strikes on militant positions were a violation of Pakistan's sovereignty, then these violations have been occurring since 2004. The CIA was responsible for allUS drone strikes in Pakistan until November 30, 2017.

After every drone strike, the Pakistan foreign office issues a condemnatory statement claiming that it will not allow such strikes on its territory.

Hundreds of civilians, according to media reports, including women and children, as well as many senior members of terrorist groups have perished in these attacks. The status of many more people remains unknown.

Aman added that the most unfortunate tragedy in the PAF's history was the Minhas airbase at Kamra.

The PAF chief also told the gathering that in the attack on Kamra airbase, terrorists managed to completely destroy one PAF Saab plane and inflict considerable damage on another.

"After the attack on Kamra airbase not only did we set out to make the PAF better and stronger, but were also determined to guide the nations towards self-sufficiency. Now, Pakistan will make its own fighter jets."

"Even Indian defence officials attest to our successes on the battlefield," Aman claimed and alleged that India was behind the attack on Kamra airbase.

"What do terrorists want from PAF planes?" he asked.
