Any self respecting nuclear armed super power wannabe would've read out the riot act to the Kuki militias to either disarm themselves or face the consequences... but here we have columns upon columns of Kuki militia men armed to the teeth grouping in the hills and they seem better equipped than Assam rifles with regards to offensive weapons.

There's a reason why CCP is feared in China. They have a strict no-nonsense approach. Yes, the Indian military has have some of the most sophisticated drones for many years tracking such movement won't be a big deal. Or it is there and knows the movement and the political power to tackle is not there? The border needs to be properly fenced, Period.

Border fencing is being blocked by states themselves be it on Myanmar side or BD side. More than drones, humint/Sigint chatter should have have given them enough warning. Its clear they shall need to mount major ops - which might cause collateral damage. All that could have been avoided - if they had required information in advance and acted on it.
