As I said this is not rag tag violence. Its planned and meticulous. I smell external hand in all this.
Can anyone give me some updates regarding meiteis action
Are they fighting the way they were during the beginning of conflict
Or they have given up or army and Assam rifles have taken the work constraining meiteis

Hindus are not secure in India :mad2: Be it Punjab, Kashmir, WB and now NE same story. State disarms you via legalisation and then does nothing to protect you?Why in 2023 we are seeing kashmir redux in Manipur? Why are we not vociferously stamping them out? Do we want to play another 40 years of appeasement policies wrt Kukis while meting out KP like refugee life to Meitis?

Atleast here there is a fight and good retaliation being given by Hindus
Which was not seen in other places

The violence is not so ferocious as before but there is sporadic violence and some violence can be deadly like this one. Sometimes the Kuki narrative of these being dealt by the village defence force doesn't make sense as most of the gunshot wounds are from sophisticated weapons, a 12 gauge round won't even reach that far or penetrate Police vehicles. RAF action is caught red-handed two times trying to insgitate violence and a few of them are suspended pending inquiry. Assam Rifle and State Police sometime almost clash as they have different notions of what is happening.

Very long read for those interested, extremely disappointing, distressing, totally out of control.

Manipur Faces Civil War-Like Situation; Decisive Action Needed

1. Complete decoupling of Kukis & Meiteis, each group moves & concentrates in their respective areas

2. In addition to normal civilians, senior police officials, administrative staff etc are also utterly divided, asks for transfers to their respective areas, do not have confidence in their subordinates from other group (including police).

3. Kukis have sophisticated CCP weapons, Meiteis have those looted from armories.

4. Civil society & intellectuals also utterly divided among ethnic lines

1686834409371.png

They even oppose disarming their respective militant groups.

5. Kuki allegations

6. Why violence still continues?

7. Wednesday's killing

Imagine 3000 armed people going out for an attack & police being afraid because they are scared to go into Kuki areas & had to call Naga police. Totally out of control.

IA, Assam rifles & CAPFs are being blockaded by normal citizens including elderly persons. Such is the vitriol that exists.

Bottom line is that armed groups have absolute support from their respective demographics. They (civilians included) block IA, Assam rifles & CAPFs. As such timely help cannot be delivered to impacted areas. If the respective groups take action against unarmed civilians more problems might be created.

Thats why writ of state needs to e seen. I think parallel operations on Both Kuki and Meitei Radicals should be done...simultaneously. President Rule should be imposed and Police be deputed under Army and Central Forces. And neutralise Kuki extremists and Meiti extremists. Both are bad for Indian Union.

Pajeet state can't even deal with a population of 3 Million.

No wonder they regularly bend over to the 200 Million mullas in India.

Manipur Police already came under CRPF.
Yet I saw videos where Police was arguing with Assam Rifles (?). In Punjab during peak terrorism when Central rule was imposed - Army/Central forces punished policemen who refused orders. Discipline needs to incolculated. There is too much wild wild west kind of culture going on - let "Tyranny of Distance" be not the excuse this time.

The state needs to be under President's rule imho, but it won't be cause both are under the same party, double engine what they say, and the election next year. If the might of the Indian armed force is not used properly it will create miss trust among the people living there. Hence, Army needs to take overall charge of the state and deal with the radicals on both sides firmly. Otherwise, this sporadic violent will continues, prolonging the problem and many more will die. Once it is quelled, political talk for a permanent solution can start but for the time being need to douse the house which is burning.
