Yes nothing can be done in a dense forest, but Intel based ops by using these civilian drones to scout the area and these coordinating their location Intel to the nearest battalion stationed, and actually be effective. If possible CRPF needs to get cheetah helicopter and arm them and use it as a gunship. The reason is cheetah is smaller and better suited for the terrain than LCH.

In Jharkhand too they collect toll on off Shoot routes that deviate from NH and SH.
In my district they still have hideouts in mountains well known to everyone.
I have a friend in Jharkhand who has two petrol pumps and he has to pay them haftas.
This shit is out in the open.
If this is the state in Minorly affected region I can't imagine what's happening in Area dominated by naxals.

2019 - maochut districts impacted = 44

There has been improvement but unless completely eradicated such events will occur even if the impacted district count goes down.
