Naxalite insurgency is being forcefully revived and it is getting overground support from a lot of corners.

We will see a lot of bloodshed if we let our guard down.
When our infrastructure projects will reach out deepest corner in naxalite corridor.
This will be a huge blow naxali.
Already left corridor is shrinking rapidly
Already naxali are at their last phases.
Their maximum leadership is dead, arrested and killed.
They are replaced by new trainee whose attacks our furious but they will not survive in long game.
At most 4-5 years this insurgency will continue.
Urban naxals will never let it down in literature and ideologically

BC Media channels doing BJP, TMC etc etc. Now a channel giving coverage to this attack. We have lost 22 personnels today and 5 a week ago. Such a sad and shameful moment in our anti naxal strategy. There must be informant of naxal in police Force. SP, DSP, COBRA AC all must be suspended from that area. And if we are not able to clear moists on our own, we should call some srilankan and other foreign experts. Such a sad day. And imagine about the families of the martyred soldier's. No one will ever know and remember their names and their families left in Sea of pain for ever.

Sorry if I have posted this before.

During the peak of Op. Greenhunt in Orissa, there was a joint op launched with the support of all Govt. agencies. My uncle was with the forest department then and was the range in-charge.

There was a big meeting, maps of the terrain laid out, all details being discussed, movement, POA, R&R thrashed about when my uncle noticed a familiar face. As soon as he saw my uncle, he covered his face and tried to slip out but my uncle raised an alarm and had him apprehended. The IGP, CRPF and other officials looked puzzled as to why their local guide was picked up by my uncle.

Turns out, he was a dreaded maoist who was recently released and he was going to be the main guide of our offense into the jungles.

Such is the state of affairs in our fight against the largest insurgency plaguing our country.

Kalluri was doing a remarkable job. GoI chickened out. Such a shame. Such a 'bloody' shame.

This the 2000 onward graph on naxal terror - we have crushed this graph. V well. Need is to keep at it, ensure regions cleared out dont fall back into terror mode.

All forms of militancy saw a peak during the 90's after the fall of Russia.

They thought India could also be balkanized easily and the booty shared among the stakeholders.

Things plateaued out towards mid 2000 due to the good work done by PVN Govt followed by NDA under Vajpayee.

We are still losing men and civilians to Maotards and the war is far from over.

There is not much to gain from this in elections so don't expect any major ops just your regular ones amplified to make a fool out of janta nothing else.

Just look at kashmir after balakot we regularly lost men sometimes 5 together and have lost men even recently but since it was not a big dhamaka and the casualties were not all at once no significant action took place.

This MoFu was given bail by courts.
This MoFu was supported by lot of people in media.

In a country where even judges are compromised to support a terrorist - what are we really hoping?

Church is the biggest supporter of naxals, providing them all kinds of support.
Everyone knows it but no one has the balls to say it openly.
At this moment of grief, let's remember another Warrior who fought, in his own way & paid the ultimate price:-

Swami Lakshmanananda Saraswatiji

Place Chhattisgarh under president's rule; give free reign to the security forces to wipe out the Naxal scum; arrest anyone, literally anyone, displaying sympathy for these terrorists, whether in Chhattisgarh or in Delhi and Mumbai. Enough is enough.
Nothing will happen so calm down this will go on just like kashmir for god knows how long.

Technology can only do so much.

Eventually, you have to put boots on the ground and when that happens, contact is established, lives are lost.

How will you drive MPV's through un-motorable areas? You will have to alight and move on foot. You are on equal footing with the hunted.

Whoever makes the first move, scores.

To say that Naxals are getting money from China, ISI etc is being shortsighted at best as it forms only a tiny fraction of the funding. Most of the funding comes from extortion. Everybody pays. From the beggar, to the Govt. teacher to the tourist cab plying the stretch to the mighty corporate Tatas to Vedantas to PSUs.

Then you have marijuana funding the insurgency too. Deep inside the forests, there is no way to know whether the tribals are growing marijuana between their sunflower or paddy crop. People don't even venture off the road, who will visit those villages?

Most of the marijuana being smuggled into South India is grown in the Orissa-AP tribal belt followed by Kerala(Idduki and other Left strongholds).

AP-Orissa belt is the hub of marijuana cultivation.

If you take a cab from Vizag/ Vizianagaram to Koraput or Orissa border, the cab drivers are often stopped enroute, given tiffin boxes, parcels and told to drop off at a roadside hotel or elsewhere. No, not all of them carry food.

In NE too, its drugs and poppy cultivation that's keeping the insurgency going.

Same in Afghanistan, South America, Ceylon, South East Asia, you name it.

Your high comes at a price that some poor soul pays with his/her blood.

This tech can be implemented in drones although it will need some work since temperature in American and Indian forest will be quite different. There's being cool temperate and ours tropical forest.

Such a large group of Naxal should give off enough stimuli to be detected.
