Chinese are goading and goading GoI into some sort of response- verbal or physical.

When the threats of "direct action" failed to yield anticipated returns, they have switched track and and speaking about formalising the PLA presence in PoK.

The fact is that Cheenis and Napakis did not need any treaty when PLA started settling down in PoK under the guise of "engineers and workers" building the "friendship highway". In the past there were reports of PLA and Napaki fauj carrying out joint patrols.

If Cheenis wish to make it official, so be it. The implications go far beyond this region. US, Japan, SoKo and Australia will be watching closely- if today Cheenis are formally placing their troops in PoK, tomorrow they could do the same in NoKo, Philippines, Paupa New Guinea, Venezuela, Fiji, Kenya, Djibouti (they have a base), Qatar etc.

Basically, in upping their stakes, Cheenis are disclosing more and more cards than holding them close to their chest and a lot of people are rubbing their hands in glee.
We have actually not been told what the issue really is. On one side China is claiming that India is obstructing road construction by China in the border region, and even Indian panelists said the same that we went to the aid of Bhutan. But next morning Indian news said "China did not use bulldozers to demolish Indian posts". What's the context for this?

As an Indian, I really don't care who started it and what are the finer details. Once it is decided that a country is your enemy since decades, it is our job to stab them in the kidney whenever we find the opportunity, or create an excuse when an opportunity arises. So if we started it, good. If they started it and we gave them a bloody nose, still, good. What is bad is that the Indian establishment time and again fails to create a domestic narrative that is consistent.

China has given an average of 2 official statements every day for a week now. They have painted themselves as a victim of Indian aggression and they are passing on those diplomatic notes to all embassies. India, on the other hand is still undecided as to what narrative to follow.

Now China has given a statement that if India intervenes in Bhutan border, then China will intervene in Kashmir to help Pakistan. This is clear escalation, time to give them a bloody nose. We are already doing Malabar exercise, we have kept Australia away from it to accommodate Chinese 'sensibilities'. The US and Japan were both pressurizing Australia to join the exercise but India refrained for its own reasons. Just get those down under guys on our side. Move some tanks to Chinese border and start shelling on the Pakistan border. Just tell the rednecks "look, we know Pakis are your ally, but we need to maintain a dominating position on the western border now to preempt the Chinese from getting overconfident on the eastern border". Use this opportunity to shell all Paki border infrastructure. The Chinese aggression is cooked up and will die down anyway. We are at an advantage on the eastern border, China knows it. They are not prepared with the logistics, even if they want a war.

Let's make Pakistan pay for Chinese adventurism. EVERY TIME.

UPDATE : LOC has been activated.

Dawn : [Pakistan] Army says four Indian soldiers killed, two posts destroyed on LoC

Ah it is almost as if GOI is courting a war from the Chinese, like it really really wants a fight...
There is only one way to settle our dispute with PRC.Repudiate One China doctrine.
Then prepare to fight it out because the thugs of Beijing will never back off unless they
they feel the full force of IA jackboot on their rear end.

I don't think the foreign media is interested in the Doklam issue unless the fireworks start. For them it's just a local inconsequential affair between Chinese and Indian troops. They have far more important issues to write about - from Syria to Trump's shenanigans to US-Russian relations etc.
even i was of the same opinion till last week, until chinese ambassador to india released a video message speaking in english. it is clear they want to drag this on.

even dailymail.uk which is usually critical of india has written in favour of india.

breitbart also has a article on it, again in favour of india.

Chinese Ambassador has met Rahul Gandhi in the backdrop of the current standoff: Sources to Republic TV

This is similar to Mani Shankar Aiyer visiting Pakistan to get help to throw the govt. only this time it is Cheena which is reassuring that they will help CONgress to come to power, considering the fact that CONgress were cowardly schmucks who couldn't stand up to Cheena.

Chinese army will not back off until Indian troops leave that disputed territory, where our iron brothers Chinese military are constructing a road in the Doklam area in the Sikkim sector on behalf of Bhutan, and leave that area so to our iron brothers to construct and complete that road, so India let concoct yourself for two front wars, as Pakistan and Chinese iron brothers are squeezing you guys from east and west, and you can consider this as pressure tactics and psychological warfare, but this is the same repeat of 1962, where Chinese Military attacked you guys and you were overlooking to the world that it was unexpected attack from China, but world know at that time India is deceitful and was worse defeat of India at the hands of Chinese military.

And, at the same time Chinese were able to capture Indian Occupied Kashmir IOK and were giving to us, but at the time in 1962 we were reluctant, now the situation is completely different guys Pakistan would be able to join this war as to capture back what it belongs to us IOK complete territory.

But, at the same time India might lose Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim to the iron brothers China, and it would be difficult for India to re occupy back the lost territory as just what happened to Aksai Chin.
Iron brother :pound::pound:..the analogy used by Porkies even dwarf the analogy used in drama series GOT

You are not iron brothers my friend.. You are infact IRONED SLAVE of Chinese :pound::pound:

Chinese Troops Probe India. This Could Be China's Next War.

On Friday, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met on the sidelines of the Hamburg G-20. It is unclear if they discussed the most-recent border standoff between their two countries, in the Himalayas in Doklam.

The confrontation began June 16, when Indian troops stopped the Chinese from building a road in the disputed area.

Earlier, Chinese construction trucks, guarded by soldiers, had entered Doklam near the strategic “tri-junction,” where Bhutan, China, and India meet. The area is just north of the “chicken’s neck,” a narrow corridor of Indian territory connecting the main portion of the country to its northeast.

India and Bhutan maintain the disputed area belongs to Bhutan while China claims it as its own.

At the moment, Chinese and Indian troops are 120 meters apart, a “civil distance.”

The situation, according to the South China Morning Post, is the “most serious confrontation between the nations in over 30 years.”

Why did Beijing choose to create a provocation at this time? “The Chinese are making their unhappiness clear on India and America’s relationship,” said Sameer Patil of Gateway House, an Indian think tank, to the Washington Post. Apparently, the Chinese decided to begin road construction—in other words, start another cycle of provocation—when they learned of Modi’s visit to Washington.

Modi visited the White House on June 26, and there he bear-hugged President Trump, who had extended an especially warm welcome. Trump during the talks had set aside trade and immigration irritants so that he could continue Bush and Obama policy to strengthen links between the world’s most populous democracy and its most powerful one. “The relationship between India and the United States has never been stronger, has never been better,” Trump said in the Rose Garden as he accurately described ties.

Why are Pakistani dogs coming back again to be humiliated in the forum. After heavy casualties suffered by them yesterday, they are relying on fake news of 4 IA killed to satisfy their bruised ego and taking shelter in power of their master
