Kaveri is not airworthy after yearsssss of developpment.
Is the Tejas flying with an indigenous radar (even just a mechanical one)?
I'm absolutely not sure 100% of a AL31F is indian made.
India makes PESA radar for Su30 MKI. Tejas will have AESA radar and that has completed ground testing and is in flight testing as of now. About engine, Kaveri will e flight tested next year. Al31F is one generation behind, something like M53 class and is already available in India for that last 3-4 years.

Here is the news articles of 100% indigenous Al31F:

5) Quad-pack ejectors for SAAW EMP-emitting standoff DEW PGM

6) Optimisation of the M88 turbofan’s jet-fuel starter for operating in sub-zero temperatures at altitudes above 9,000 feet ASL

7) Upgraded SPECTRA EW suite to accommodate low-band, medium-band and high-band directional jammer apertures

8) Rafael's X-Guard towed-decoy and its onboard launcher

9) THALES' traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS)

10) THALES' standby radar altimeter

11) Increased capacity of onboard OBOGS;

Just an error : Meteor is already integrated on all (including indian one) Rafale.

Everything on the list of French origin comes standard on the F3R.
List of IAF-specific modifications on Rafale... so they are not specific.

french origin : the high and cold engine start is of french origin and not on the standart F3R as far as I know. Do you know what is the content of this "high and cold start" ?

This is the standard APU that says it can be used in harsh environments.

Maybe India requested a better one but when it was testing at Leh it used this and passed the trials.

where is the nonsense that SAAW is an EMP emitting PGM came from?, it is only a miniature PGM similar to GBU-39, nothing more, nothing less
There is no PGM that emits EMP. No country has such PGM. EMP is mostly limited to hollywood movies and I have not seen any news about EMP bombs. Nukes emitting EMP is known but only EMP is exceedingly rare

This is a microwave pulse and is only in development. Its effectiveness and power consumption needs are not established. It is likely to end up like rail guns
EMP is short for electromagnetic pulse, microwave pulse is also considered an electromagnetic pulse (though not all electromagnetic pulse is microwave), the rest i agree

It's not perfectly clear. I've read some years ago that USAF had a non nuclear EMP bomb.
I don't remember how it was supposed to work.

take a big capacitor...connect it to a solonoid coil ....design the discharge LC circuit to a very short time....
charge the capacitor and then...just switch on the coil....you had your emp device ready at home....

Did I make it up?
Yes you did, because you had no answer to the fact, that just a single AASM version is available for Rafale, which proves your earlier claim about superiority on PGMs to be wrong. So pulling up a Safran advertisement and "acting", as if those AASMs are developed and integrated is just a poor try, to change the reality.

You just admitted it when you said it lacked specialised electronics and EW for the strike role
That's what I said from the start and why I keep saying that Rafale has better electronics and EW, but that wasn't your claim!
You made up superiority on weapon and load capability, which is factually wrong, because the MKI has more A2G weapons to offer and because it doesn't require external fuel tanks.

The MKI was not initially ordered with a jammer, targetting pods or PGMs, they were added later and only enough for one or two squadrons.
Lol, more nonsense just to distract from your false claims? HAL integrates all non Russian systems in India, just as it does with the upgraded Mirage 2000 now.

Modifications of the engines to take off and land from high altitude areas, also the standard M88 in the F3R is claimed to be pushed to 83kN for Qatar and India, since that's possible without major changes on the engine or air intake.

It's a customized Spice 250 and there were reports about a joint development with Israel for years, but there are no details available other than speculations of the Trishul Blog.

I'm afraid it's a fake news.
It was said that the Qatar planes will have these kind of engines, but some are already flying in France (with Qatary pilots) and no evidence of that. Maybe it will be officially released once the first delivery in Qatar, but I don't think so.
