Madhya Pradesh Police HAWK Counter Terrorist Group (CTG) Commandos during hostage rescue drill.

They just don’t look equipped or drilled well enough for hostage rescue missions. So much about this is off.Even for photo ops, it looks a shitty drill.
Burecrats think just handing over advance equipment is good enough to qualify as Special Commando

When they classify an AK or INSAS and an ACH as “advanced equipment “ then you have a problem.Burecrats think just handing over advance equipment is good enough to qualify as Special Commando
Moreover look at the numbers of double barrels at the wall. Konyak, the head hunters.
Manipur Police Commandos with traditional warrior tribesman . See how things changed over the years Commandos equipped with OFB Excalibur MK-1 OFB Rifle Scope , HK Mp5 & Arsenal M1F41
Trichy AR has earned praise for it's finish and build quality.OFB ghatak vs Trichy AR, which is better one
Yes @Twinblade is right TAR is more refined & stable than Ghatak as it is exact copy of Bulgarian M1F41 which is also a stable platform and very successful in India. Ghatak somehow got more orders from forces.OFB ghatak vs Trichy AR, which is better one
That was old design of TAR. It was then changed and now it looks similar to Arsenal AKs.http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-U8fYpNFpcdE/VU_POZQBzvI/AAAAAAAAJT0/m9BymDYrpeM/s1600/Trichy+SLR-2.jpg
If you look at brochure of Trichy it shows a vetsion of FN FAL with tilt bolt design rather than rotary bolt of AK
