Viraat? a single agosta can hanlde it or maybe couple CM400AKG carrier killers
As for your whole navy, It won't take more than a single Tactical NEMP to disable your entire fleet and turn them into floating metal
I know I'll probably get heckled for it by my countrymen, But let me explain why your ideas of sinking a carrier are not as easy as declaring a fatwa (or watching bestiality videos, which I do think is quite difficult to see btw)

Submarines are indeed the biggest threat to a carrier. If nothing, WW2 proved that a sub could annihilate a carrier far more quickly and cheaply than a carrier-to-carrier battle or a maritime strike from land based fighters. But unfortunately for PN, they will be hard pressed to find this window of opportunity. Here's why:

PN subs operate from a single harbor, and while that by itself isn't a problem, the harbor sits just a few hundred miles from IN shores. It is not inconceivable that the IN maintains surveillance over the PN assets exiting the harbor. This will allow the IN to observe and track the PN subs as they move out on patrol. That's one problem.

The second one is that IN has been quietly setting up a comprehensive hydrophone network around Indian shores. and despite what you may say, they will make movement of the Agosta's quite difficult. I'll not go into P8I or the Tu12 or the Il-38. you can do the math.

The next error is your understanding that a single JF-17/Mirage 3 will strike at the IN carrier from 200km range. Well, firstly you don't have radars with such detection ranges onboard the aircraft (with the exception of the AWE&CS) and secondly the EW suites wont let you lock on to the ship in the first place.

And then you must realize that fleet escorts may be stationed as much as 60-100 miles from the carrier. That's one more nuisance you have to deal with.

And as for NEMP, all core electronics are hardened against such strike. The radars and communication systems will be lost no doubt, but the ship defences and systems will still be operational.

I was thinking, we should not retire Virrat, we can use it to launch 5-6 Agni5 missiles, until K4 comes on line. It has big flight deck, we can smartly use this space.

any idea what Viki is towing ???

What you see being towed behind Vikky is called Splash target. It is a flat wooden board with a metal hook which splashes water and can be seen by aircraft. They carry out weapon drops on this target using rockets/front guns/practice bombs. You can see in some pix that sea harrier is flying close to it. This is done not only to train pilots but also directing staff of the carrier.
Pls notice the tramlines on the carrier and how less is the separation on the sides. This is the kind of accuracy which is needed and expected from naval pilots by day and by night.

Sir, If this was a new ship it could take such a massive blast of A5/6, As its not so it is not a suitable platform for such task ..
