Neither does it make your assertion true.........Okay, but that doesn't make it false.

- Korotkov told reporters Wednesday at MAKS ."Right now, we are finishing the test aircraft maintenance systems, aircraft carrier" Vikramaditya "Four days ago, produced on his deck a night landing - one of the most difficult elements of the test. Prior to that we were flying only at dusk"
- said Korotkov, adding that the flight test program began in early August."We hope that somewhere between 15 and 20 September, we will finish the job. Everything is going well, according to plan,"
In August, made a total of nine MiG-29K landing on the deck. Test pilots RAC "MiG" Mikhail Belyaev, Sergei and Andrei Rybnikov Shishov expertly piloted aircraft, perform confidently approach and engagement on the arresting gear cables, as well as the ups with the use of nasal jump. Particularly pleased that Andrew Shishov himself from Severodvinsk, and today obletyvat ship that got a second life in his hometown. An important phase of testing was held on August 16. Taking off from the airfield "Severomorsk" test pilots RAC "MiG" was put on the MiG-29K deck with a full load and get "credit". Pro scheduled for the end of August the test Leonov says: "Now we have to start to work out the MiG-29K with a full load to reiterate that the aircraft with a maximum take-off weight can take off from the deck of an aircraft carrier."

Does this supports your argument??An important phase of testing was held on August 16. Yes, it is relevant. Mig-29K taking off from a carrier at MTOW is a 100% given since it was already done 20 years ago.Does this supports your argument??

Short take-off but arrested-recovery (STOBAR): these carriers are generally limited to carrying lighter fixed-wing aircraft with more limited payloads. STOBAR carrier airwings, such as the Sukhoi Su-33 and future Mikoyan MiG-29K wings of the Admiral Kuznetsov are often geared primarily towards air superiority and fleet defense roles rather than strike/power projection tasks, which require heavier payloads (bombs and air-to-ground missiles). Currently, only Russia possesses an operational carrier of this type. China has rebuilt the sister ship to the Admiral Kuznetsov and has built a domestic Su-33 clone; this carrier is currently in commission for experimentation and training. Russia is also preparing a similar rebuilt carrier formerly of the Kiev class for India..
The previously unidentified projectile, seen launched from the Indian Navy's Aircraft Carrier, INS Vikramaditya, identified.

Still have my doubts. That could mean the MTOW when launched from a Ski Jump Aircraft Carrer. Not the MTOW when operating from Air Fields. In addition the quote says "we have to start work out the Mig-29K with a full load to reiterate that the aircraft with a maximum take-off weight can take off from the deck of an aircraft carrier"Does this supports your argument??

The delivery date was confirmed at talks Defence Secretary R.K. Mathur held in Moscow on Monday, according to informed sources.INS Vikramaditya will be handed over to the Indian Navy on November 15 at a formal ceremony in the Russian northern seaport of Severodvinsk on the White Sea.
I guess more or less it is the same as that of a Super Hornet or the Rafale, the two other aircrafts in it class. If you are talking about the Su-33 or the J-15 well they are larger aircrafts than the MiG.Thats one hell of a carrier. INS Vikrant2 would be a good fit also. But i have one question why does the Mig29k have a limited range, while the other aircrafts of its class have that advantage. Is it so fuel guzzling??
