There will never be any improvements, because there is 0 accountability. Why will municipal babooze do anything when they will get away scot free? For both incidents they will claim the buildings were illegal or did not have fire safety equipment. Whose responsibility is it to audit for these things? Until this pajitocracy does not impose strict definitions of areas of responsibility with prompt judicial justice, things will never improve.

I went to that place a few days back by mistake when I got on to the Dwarka expressway mistaking the way to it for a normal road back to Delhi. And I can confirm that the entire area is a giant shithole with no infrastructure at all. Just expensive overpriced apartments built on barren land and a few miserable condition roads along it and roadside food stalls and puncture shops. There is literally no trunk infrastructure in that part of Gurugram at all. No drainage, no streetlights, no traffic signals, no proper roads, and basically nothing. And the picture gives an accurate description of the area.
