Kind of wrong halde, he did not walk in active traffic and it was ceremonial
Ya'll Nibbiars PM's Party's Top Ministry of both state, and national are now doing this in the active traffic. Mine was forced due to the chillar part and after asking the police, but what about those?.

These clean rankings are an insult to anyone with double digit IQ. What they should actually grade cities strictly by are -> how many dustbins are in the city, how frequent they are cleaned, what is the street cleaning workforce and how often are streets cleaned. And lastly what happens to the garbage collected. Even the "cleanest" Indian city is an embarrasing sh!thole compared to even other developing countries. Indore might be cleaner than the average Indian city, but the second you go into interior roads, the same situation is there. Plus these clean rankings also need to take into account the amount of dust at the roadsides. Most of Indian city's bad looks come from broken encroached or non-existing footpaths which lead to massive dust, mud and garbage accumulation.
In Indore every area and colony has dustbins in all places wherever possible, and they are cleaned either daily or if there is some issue then one day after.(you can raise a request also if needed).

Streets are cleaned daily, every night the cleaning begins 3AM in the morning, there is sufficient workforce and machine's are employed if there are bigger roads, even bypass is cleaned either in a week or two.

The garbage is collected in different bins, solid and other type of garbage which can be used to made gas is collected in different bin, the garbage collector will not take the garbage till you have segregated the garbage, there is fine on garbage collector, and the solid waste goes for recycling, the other waste is used to make gas which is used to run the city public transport.

Even pads from ladies are collected seperately.
And you can give the garbage collector any type of garbage seperately if it can't go in both solid and bio degradable waste.

Care to name those interior roads of Indore? Or if you know specific area?

So the republic of Whitefield will get connectivity via HSR... Der aaye durust aaye :bplease:
It is still not clear though. They've been running multiple surveys but nothing has been done. In fact the only under construction line which got so much delays itself is only a small portion of the bigger Delhi-Mumbai Bullet Train corridor. It seems the gormint isn't really that much serious on HSR, and just wants to get just one done at any cost due to their ego issues as it was Modi's promise that he'll bring bullet train to India.

They've also been doing surveys for Delhi-Amritsar-Chandigarh Bullet train corridor (DAC HSR). So I'm skeptical.

They can't even complete the Mumbai to whatever-city-in-gujurat bullet train route, and they want to expand it to the south?
Atleast earlier it was the Penguin and his MVA thugs blocking the construction, abhi kya hai

They only completed acquisition of land only a few days back. Good they started construction on existing acquired line, but I don't think there is any future for HSR in India. I feel they'll stick to S-HSR/Vande Bharat-2 train meant to travel at 220 kmph.

Even the RRTS corridors aren't being executed quick. Only one partially done, rest still in surveys. Leave other other cities. Need more financing for urban mass transit infrastructure over building roads.

Blore isn't able to complete flyover and bridges over nalas.. heck even concreting of roads is stuck after this new govt came to power. HSR is far away as long as scamgress is in power there .

Take a look at this, now that the airport is hardly a year away from operations, they're starting the surveys now. They should at least complete surveys and prepare DPRs beforehand even if they want to build them in future due to feasibility issues. Will save a lot of time for both infra buildup and citizens.

It is following the Chennai - Chittor - Bengaluru. Basically the upcoming Chennai - Bengaluru Expressway. Already that expressway have enough gap between the carriages to accommodate something secret.

Bullet train alignment will be same as this Expressway. No need to do land acquisition. Issue will be with Stations. At Chennai, Central cannot have space to accommodate new station. While Bengaluru sleeping siddha is there.

Also some HSR can be done in Southern States.

One region I am thinking about is Chennai-Bengaluru-Hyderabad Triangle. Chennai - Hyderabad never have an great connectivity. This HSR will change that.

On north except New Delhi - Mumbai, others does not have that pull. New Delhi- Mumbai have Jaipur, Udaipur, Abu Road where we can connect some important tourist places.

New Delhi - Kolkata on the other hand is joke. Unless cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi started to develop rapidly it is just waste of money. Till then VB with increased speed is enough.

How incompetent can one be? They're talking about creating Haryana Metro Rail Corporation in 2024 after years of blabbering about building metrolines in Gurugram.

No wonder they might show their incompetency in executing Chandigarh metro as well.

Don't think so, Delhi-Kolkata line will have Jewar, Agra, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Patna, Gaya and Kolkata ofcourse. These are important stations.

This is the chart one needs to follow for HSR. So, Delhi - Mumbai has the potential of being equivalent to Beijing - Shanghai route.

For longer routes, high speed sleeper services will be extremely popular. Imagine leaving Delhi at night and reaching Mumbai/Bangalore/Kolkata early in the morning. Will be very popular as it saves cost of 1 night in a hotel.
