Wish they topped the concrete surface with asphalt. Concrete roads have very high tyre noise compared to asphalt. The entry/exit ramps (most accident prone areas) are still subpar.

We had given order of 36k wheels for vandebharat express to one of the largest manufacturer of such product in ukraine .. now there is supply issue due to war . Some order ll be diverted to usa , china ,poland , chez republic . Looks like there might be some delay in this project .

Amaravati smart city work has restarted after chad Andhra Pradesh high court punctured JMR’s 3 capital idea to destroy Amaravati, I sincerely hope central government manages to bring significant investments into the city.

And regarding Naya Raipur, one must remember where it’s being built, such big greenfield cities are feasible only near big economic hotspots not in areas with low economic output.

Meanwhile Khujliwal never gave focus to NSP in Delhi, it’s also seeing some new investments.

Forget Amaravathi. Nothing is going to happen there.

Hopefully a part of the eway in Gujarat can be opened by 2023.

Signage seems to be of good quality (they're using colours similar to MUTCD highways) Also I hope they redo the lane markings properly.

Because there is no incentive to do so. Most of Amravati city is developed by Noam Fosters company same dude who is responsible for designing buildings in Business districts of canary wharf and hong kong.

Take for example not just small towns but big upcoming smart cities also get fucked under Indian Admin, example being bhubaneshwar where the southern parts were designed by a German architect Otto Konigsberger. Areas designed by him have square round and Triangular blocking with well spaced parks, road and footpath. North section was developed by Indian admin and looks like shit without straight lines and non existent zoning. Chandigarh was designed by some French dude is also planned and look how good it is, tho the newer zones coming up lack quality.

The Indian admin have no design philosophy of its own that fit the Indian subcontinent and its societal needs.
