Excellent documentary on how an NGO & ordinary citizens managed to revive an ancient water storage system comprising of several lakes , ponds , check dams & irrigation network system dating back to the Cholas in the Coimbatore city region in the last 4-5 years thus alleviating crippling drought like conditions which occured there for 3 consecutive yrs beginning ~ 2015.

Check out the content creator who's an expert in permaculture from the US document such stories from across the world & has done several such documentaries in India documenting water conservation efforts by local residents in various parts of the country. He has a whole playlist on this.

Gujaratis built much of Mumbai. At the rate of threat letters Ambani is receiving, don’t be surprised if he relocates to Surat too. Adani is already in Ahmedabad. Mumbai needs to complete all its infra projects quickly and put in place a plan to become a top 20 most livable city in the world and just keep executing it. Get rid of slums, stupid activists, underworld scums etc and just turn the city into a global top 20. No excuses.

Mumbai needs to complete all its infra projects quickly and put in place a plan to become a top 20 most livable city in the world and just keep executing it. Yup…almost all high net worth indians have a second passport now and overseas homes, a lot in low tax areas like Dubai. And this is only increasing. This is why I said unless we can provide top 20 livable cities, these rich people can go anywhere in the world and live. Mumbai’s best option is to turn into a top 20 livable city and become a global magnet for high net worth individuals owning properties here. A long way to go.

Let's be realistic. China has some of the most modern cities in the world yet their tycoons are seeking alternatives if not relocating themselves lock stock & barrel to city states like Singapore.

Arguably India's not China nor are the motivations of their tycoons for moving out the same as ours. Besides we see tycoons in UK seek Swiss citizenship to avoid the punishing tax regime there including other nations in the EU accelerated by Brexit .

But chinese cities are not even in top 50 livable cities. You want your millionaires to stay, the city has to be in top 20.
