What is the drawback of NCR RRTS? Is it because it is standard gauge? If so, can someone please explain to me the pros and cons of standard gauge and broad gauge and how they stack against each other and in what areas, they give greater benefits and detract the most?

5 . More Indeginious technology and Domestic firms will be benefited.
6 . Takes less time to be implemented.
7 . Lee's hurdle in Land aquacation.
8 . More funds could be diverted towards urban section of the routes.
9 . And could he implement in even Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
10 . The Inter operability with railways ensure maximum reach.

Ya'll Nibbiars and in future every city in the Maharashtra with a population of 3,00,000 will be connected by the Broad Gague Metro using existing line being upgraded. And with a standard average speed of 160 Kms per hours. The Nagpur Broad Gague Metro will cost just 3,000 crores a fraction of the NCR RRTS which would cost 25,000 crores. And still will have greater passenger capacity.
