Indian Arm Wrestler Aabhas Rana won Gold Medal at World ArmWrestling (WAF 2023) | India vs Georgia
Seems like we and Danish are going to destroy Chini dominance in Badminton. Even in TT, many other countries have started doing good against Chinese and South-East Asian countries now.World No 1 Men's doubles badminton duo just won the French Open title.
Very humble guys too. Here's them interacting with a Telugu vlogger in Paris.
Few years back was at the Yonex All England and Lakshya Sen won his SF and coming out in the crowd was Satwik - so I gave my Telegu friend a little nudge to spot him and he was nice enough to have a little chat in Telegu with him and pictures with the rest of the Indian fans once they clocked on.World No 1 Men's doubles badminton duo just won the French Open title.

I wish that was the case but China are still the strongest though not as dominant as before - almost always in a final week in week out on the world tour. For Indian players they have the skills but their physical fitness and mental fortitude needs strengthening. Satwik/Chirag are really the only hope of a medal in badminton for Paris Olympics. The good news is they opened a centre of excellence in Guwahati and they hired some world-class coaches - so hopefully the system improves as a whole to produce a strong talent pool in the future.Seems like we and Danish are going to destroy Chini dominance in Badminton. Not true. She lost in semis on purpose; to remain at her physical peak for the 50 kg final (which she won). Antim Panghal has already won the quota in 53 kg (courtesy of her bronze medeal at the 2023 world championship) and thus, Vinesh would have to defeat her twice to make it to the Olympics (the best amongst the top 4 finishers across a specific weight category is given the opportunity to defeat the quota winner a few months before the games; if the challenger wins, a rematch is organized and the winner of that match makes it to the Olympics). For now, Vinesh will be going in the quilifiers to earn her place at 50 kg - if she manages to bag her quota that will be the end of it. Otherwise, the bumpier path to 53 kg remains open as well (because she made it to the semis in that category too).
When it comes to badminton, the chinese are anyway not as dominant as they were about 15 years back.Seems like we and Danish are going to destroy Chini dominance in Badminton. Even in TT, many other countries have started doing good against Chinese and South-East Asian countries now.
Why so? Lakshya Sen is very much back in business after he parted ways his former coach (Anup Sridhar) and made it to the semis at back to back tourneys (French Open and All England); defeating the likes of Li Shi Feng, Antonsen, Loh and Lee Zii Jia.Few years back was at the Yonex All England and Lakshya Sen won his SF and coming out in the crowd was Satwik - so I gave my Telegu friend a little nudge to spot him and he was nice enough to have a little chat in Telegu with him and pictures with the rest of the Indian fans once they clocked on.
