India's success at the Asian Games has violated the ideological consensus that kept the country together.

The renowned historian Krishnasurya Guha, who has enlightened the world with his masterpiece 'India after that old Barrister from South Africa', has expressed his dismay at the Indian middle class for celebrating the medals won by their athletes.
