Whats the point of armour then? Don’t think thats a good practical one except it is highly mobile.armour need to be able to cover some more areas like abdomen.

I won't say this setup has not been used
There was a time when sight+mag was used
But now everyone including foreign infantry have switched to lpvo
Atleast para sf should havevgine for it
