I think I saw someone talk about it on reddit thag vortex sights made in china are sold to public for military he named two other Asian countries where they produce sights for military Thailand or Phillipines may be thers I don't remember but it wasn't china

As I’ve said repeatedly- there’s no specialisation in india, especially true for SF. They are all generalists that get employed in everything from engineering support to diving for bodies to SAR in civil support.

USAF has PJs, STS, DAGRE and CCTs. IAF just has Garuds

USN has EOD, MAs, VBSS, SWICC, SEALS, DEVGRU etc etc. IN has MARCOs and a few clearance diver teams

US Army has 82nd airborne, Green berets, ISA, CAG/Delta/ACE, and a LOT more, IA has PARAs

mission creep got these guys. Raised to be SF (CSAR, FAC), now the majority of their deployments are QRF for airbases and door gunners in LWE Ops.

No reason on earth why you need guys with this level of training as QRFs, this can easily be done by training up certain DAC/IAF police QRTs to the appropriate standard.

Alot of optics companies have manufacturing plants in China, they ship the parts to USA where they are assembled and sold under "assembled in the USA" tag. Lower priced Vortex optics are made in china and their higher end products are made in japan and Phillipines.

NGSW-FC is only going to manufactured in the USA, the US army has certain conditions for the manufacturer.

First we need to accept that our gears were shit and it might have been standard issue for western nations for years for us it wasn't even an option until couple of years ago I understand your frustration but they won't reach western standard in 2 years I will just give them time they are working on it unlike someone else they will be on par with western forces by end of this decade no doubt about that

I was thinking exactly of this. Even after stealing, you would need material, manpower and machining to achieve a decent quality level. This can't happen without hand-holding.
