Allegedly, we can only speculate. What's blunt here , we all know indian sf kidnapped her

What part?Bruh now this is just being cynical for the sake of it.
Why do you say this?
damn this is the exact opposite of rescuing the damsel in distressAllegedly, we can only speculate.
You get my point. Our operators don't have to face the steep learning curve that an American may face to do undercover operations in this part of the subcon.I disagree, they can tell. My friend was in pakistan for a bit and got recognised easily. Even got free sweets for some Indian notes.
The statement is blunt.. and funny... and...sigh....What's blunt here , we all know indian sf kidnapped her
I don't remember saying otherwise. There is a difference in surviving in mainland pakistan and in surviving in terrorist camps the latter requires more skill and intelligence and 100*the guts
Why do you think it was NOT the Indian SF when almost every other open source says otherwise? What part?
Itβs not even a slight against Indian SF, I have read about that story so much and heard plenty of interviews with the βfriendβ of the princess and the French facilitator it smells of pure BS, thereβs not ONE scrap of evidence ANY of it happened. Why do you think it was NOT the Indian SF when almost every other open source says otherwise?
@FalconSlayers, contrary to popular belief, is not a delusional dudeCome on man, you know what i mean. I was just making a point against a child.
It's not an M16 nibba, it's an M4View attachment 121528
pic of Captain Albert Louis (9 para) with what looks like m16, Was this from his days in para, or is he just testing it in some range?
Also, check his interview with Lt Cdr Bijay Nair, there was nothing much about SF in 1st part but 2nd part was really good, he talked about being SSC in para and some kind of pyramid, PTSD(indirectly), probation, really really good.
It's been already established that Indian Para SF or SF in general need some improvement, its not just a issue with money but how we are utilizing it and along with how they are handled. There is an operator aesthetic that we seem to lack. We are still in the commando phase.
IMO the first step towards creating an SF identity for us is to change the Para Beret for SF.Army should just call them Indian Army Special Forces or Red Berets just like US has US Army Special Forces who are Green Berets. MP Berets should be replaced with some other color.
Phat weimmn in da army , homies. It's been already established that Indian Para SF or SF in general need some improvement, its not just a issue with money but how we are utilizing it and along with how they are handled.
But cherry picking pics to push an agenda which has already been discussed and recycled countless times is just stretching it, it's like using the pic related to generalize the whole us army, doesn't make sense but that's the point. Your point is absurd.

This thread is overdosing on copium to the point where you can spout any random bs and people will chuckle, it really doesn't help when you actually want to see the real issues.
Also, @FalconSlayers is right that you come across as very insecure person and he is the guy who has been critical of our sf in the past, hardly anyone here disagrees that there's a lot of improvements but using cheap shots in the thread is not okay.
You are comparing apple to oranges the Strategic missions you are talking about were done by Devgru or Delta, not Green Berets or Navy Seals they were doing similar stuff as Paras in their own right. To be doing that level of Stuff or having that level of Unit you first need a mandate for that, which we dont have.Sorry but this is ultimate coping.
As has been predicted after every step forward for Indian SFs the very next time they are seen they are back to their same standard. A few token bits of kit seen mostly for public displays are not indicative of the units in the frontlines. We have seen the sorry state of those guys.
That these basic things don't exist proves how rotten the entire mess is.
This is so far from the truth it's absurd. Actually listen into what ex US/NATO operators have done in the last 10 years, they have done literally 1000s of of extraordinary missions, their 'normal/daily routine in Iraq/Afghanistan is more high-tempo and dynamic than anything Indian SFs have ever done- yes I mean this.
That's not even counting the 'headline grabbing' missions like Abbotobad, Baghdadi takedown, Captain Phillips mission, Hostage rescue missions in Africa etc.
I would struggle to point to a strategically significant Mission Indian SFs have done in the last 20+ years
Afghanistan is a different case but in Vietnam they got fooked.Dear lord, its like talking to a child. The US military achieved everything they wanted in afghanistan. The only reason they left is politics. Childish arguments like vietnam just tells me you are stupid.

MARCOS did countable number of anti piracy missions just like the Muricans, Russians, or Korean. The Koreans did grab the headline for their op "Dawn of Gulf of Aden" and Russians as usual were Russians.Sorry but this is ultimate coping.

Pirate vessels are boarded and apprehended mostly by VBSS, and USN/USCG VBSS is practically indistinguishable from SOFMARCOS did countable number of anti piracy missions just like the Muricans, Russians, or Korean. Paras have done many CBR directly targeting the enemy post and some times deep in the territory. they would not go to Afghanistan to just compete "Hey, i can do the same stuff". Their should be a need for missions and a will to employ SF for that.
I dont think those were MARCOS but my guess will be VBSS Team of ICG and UAE SOFItβs not even a slight against Indian SF, I have read about that story so much and heard plenty of interviews with the βfriendβ of the princess and the French facilitator it smells of pure BS, thereβs not ONE scrap of evidence ANY of it happened.
they claimed they were being surveilled by ICG planes and ships for days, NO photographs or videos to back this up.
They claim they were boarded by Indian SFs whilst one of them hid in a cabin and phoned a human rights lawyer in London- NO evidence of this.
They claimed the boat had flashbangs used and doors smashed, why arenβt there pictures of the damage/flashbangs when they returned to port?
They even claimed they were shot at, what evidence
Is there of that?
it reeks of a Western activist hit job on facist india as usual
this entire story comes from 2 white people
Captain Philips was rescued by Seal Team 6 aka Devgru, Tier 1 rest of Navy Seals are Tier 2. Generally that area is considered Hot Zone and VBSS teams dont board a vessel where there could possible Hostage Situation.Pirate vessels are boarded and apprehended mostly by VBSS, and USN/USCG VBSS is practically indistinguishable from SOF
Navy Seals only for when things get shit hot like Captain Phillips and Hostages/HVTs are involved
