does this prevent the trigger from being pressed? if not, its useless. The whole cock the pistol in the holster thing is very gimmicky, even the russians who invented it have abandoned the idea.
The whole carry a pistol without a round chambered is thoroughly cast aside now, it was a thing that might have been necessary with older generation pistols with external hammers and safeties but something like Glock with internal hammers and integrated trigger safeties it’s next to impossible to have a negligent discharge if you have a proper holster and practice correct trigger discipline. That said we’ve seen NSG still doing that Israeli draw, rack and shoot pistol drill, again completely pointless with Glocks that they use and also a tactical hinderance when split seconds count

NSG needs to go to American trained trainers not Israelis, even Europeans are not teaching this.

Yep. Way better stance than Para SF. What is confusing is that NSG SAG is comprised of Army men and many of the officers are SF. Then how come, these better practices and training hasn't gotten to Para SF yet.
What’s confusing about it? Training and culture matter.

NSG post-26/11 basically changed everything about themselves but particularly their training- there’s no a lot more real world mock drills with other stakeholders, they’ve invested a lot in modern shooting facilities and training paraphernalia like simmunition etc.

The fact that these changes don’t translate back into PARA SF shows how rigid and lacking dynamism that force is. There’s been a lot of CAPF/IPS guys that have left SPG/NSG after deputation and used that experience to create big changes in their parent CAPF.

I’ve been saying for a while there’s something very rotten going on inside PARA SF and there has been for a long time now. Their disappointing tactics and equipment are just the symptom

The Navy leading up front as usual.

Look at that handling. He's not a heavy guy. He's not compensating for technique with bodyweight.
It's a belt fed machinegun and he's controlling it like it's some weak-ass SMG.

Glorious!:shoot:
Negevs are comparatively soft shooting to begin with
