From what I know of this particular picture he's guarding the 10th Para HQ in Rajasthan where he'd probably prefer his vision not being hindered by our current inventory of helmets. The vest is an old one, as is the picture itself but there are glaring gaps in the training pipeline notwithstanding.

I'm not going to speak on that shit anymore.
