If they buy additional Chinooks and it’s a big “IF” it will IMO be the same as what was purchased the first time(15). There was actually a few rumours that Air Force is interested in purchasing 6 additional C130J Super Hercules and a repeat order of CH-47s, after seeing the great utility of these 2 platforms in the recent clashes with China. Don’t know how true these rumours are though so don’t take this post as any sort of confirmed decisions

We should work on RTA-90NG in a fast pace as our future transport programme, Indian govt isn’t focussing on it, we should become self reliant in such spheres too.
