Do special forces use performance assisting drugs like Modafinil? I know the Indian Air Force uses it and it even sanctions it to its pilots. I want to understand if its used elsewhere too.

I dont know for SF but i have heard of pills used to supress fatigue and sleep deprivation in Kargil.

Also shocking was to hear cyanide being used on Commando knives.(Sub Digender singh has claimed on YouTube)

Use of Modafinil is not a state secret. Many armies use Modafinil in situations where the troops may face sleep deprivation. Also these was an article in Times of India about the Indian air force pilots using Modafinil.

Its called modalert , i tell you what specail forces should take armodadnil called waklert 50 or wakelert 150 , effect is for 1 whole day infact more than 1 day.

Wakelrt 50 , waklert 150. Aka armodafnil
Price is for modalet 100 : 154 rupees.
For modalet 200 : 250 rupees.
For wakelrt 50 : 150 rupees
Waklert 150 : 270 rupees.
Each patti has 10 tablets.

They either come in 100 mg or 200 mg .
So probably pilots take 1 200 mg tablet or even more.because one develops tolerance to it.
There is another drug , which I don't remember but it helps the pilots to sleep.
