...and those are just the known/confirmed ones. You don't need a 21 trillion economy to afford a few hundred sets of top-notch equipment for your best-of-the-best units. It doesn't work like that.

That said, like many others have pointed out, we have certain indigenous alternatives.

Our own BNVD-P costs lesser than the GPNVG-18 because it’s made in India.

Yup using ak for CQB seems odd.but they need quad tubes so that they can end the practise of not engaging terrorists in the night and giving them time till morning to engage them

Army is now giving some attention towards infantry modernisation.ghataks,airborne,rashtriya rifles all are now decently equiped but special forces are still on their own

Gives a larger field of view than BiNODs
They're only better in helping Depth perception
Which is miles ahead than what we Paras can boast about

Going by their mandate, QRT are just first responders helping JKP/JKPSOG for laying cordon and provide extra firepower until RR reaches there

Mainstay of NSG will continue to be Mp5, although that's also being replaced now in some quantity by MPX. In the ARs, it will be Sig 552/553.

Kriss Vector isn't used much by any special unit across the world, it's expensive, and complicated. Good weapon in theory, in practical terms, has its own set of difficulties.

The Ranger wing in Ireland and he was in a CIF/CRF whaile in the US SF.
His best friend in the US SF and the guy you see him in a lot of videos, Mike Glover was in Delta for a short time before it was decided he should go somewhere else.

Yeah Kevin Owens was in the Ranger wing of Irish Army which is basically their SAS equivalent before going PMC, then US army infantry then US SF then CIF and then SOCOM modernisation office

Mike Glover was in US Army SF (Green Berets) then CIF where he met Kevin, he then went to Delta then went back to Army SF as he was asked to raise the CIF for Northern Africa AOR and finally he did some CIA 'contracting' before leaving and creating Fieldcraft survival which is where Kevin went to work after leaving the army.
