When speaking about HKs , i remember an article written by someone on some site i don't remember about how a potential raid to kill Sayeed would look like (it was a brainstorm/fart).
The article mentioned SG doing the op , the main weapons stated were tavors and at one point it said they had marksmen carrying HK 417s ............ Quite specific for a lesser known subsystem .

was it just fiction .. yes , but yeah just putting it here . If anyone knows this article ,pls link it .

I am highly doubtful about this. The only way this would be possible if it was a govt to govt deal that wasnt publicised. Even if the guns were routed via their US division, they would have to get an approval from the German export ministry considering Germany still actively considers Kashmir as a conflict zone and they would definitely want to avoid another 2019 SigSauer USA fiasco where their guns ended up in the Columbian conflict. H&K already has a similar case earlier which made them really risk averse.

This was probably a G2G deal kept under wraps and Gov probably only went for it cause it was for their tier 1 units and that's why the deal happened remember Paras didn't get HKs so not unbelievable they probably made a deal for like few hundred kits

Yea he most probably knows guy used to visit RR based few hundred kits with a G2G deal wouldn't hurt anyone although those mfs were probably costly

I'll just leave a pattern here. any claims of an operator being SG from photos has always been from an HVT hunt. Just an observation, nothing else!
