Yea with shitty plastic and with no scaling too that goes trrrr trrrrr. We had to really good bb pistols when I was a kid with orange plastic bbs there were 2 variants in that one cheap one and one with decent quality had laserz and everything back then

I wish i was rich enough to fund Para SF,Garud and Marcos teams to US for Airsoft matches with good teams by disguising them as an Indian Airsoft team.

Would be a humbling exercise!!!!!

I have seen Thai ex military guys do with things i dont even see the Para doing.

My point was i wish i could take them like on a vacation and show them how much lack of exposure they have.

They train with them frequently probably get humbled too it's a mindset thing Marcos do the same and see how they change its about mindset and will to change to do matter one does it while other one does not although we have started seeing changes but not enough yet.

They have expouser brother they know what's wrong when major sahani pushed for more m4s an active sf officer and you see them reluctant to change even after knowing what's wrong it's entirely their thing no amount of exposurer will change it unless they themselves want to change one more example Hari sir who trains Para was asked what does he prefer when doing CQB his answer an M4 did we see any changes?

It's about time this group unanimously agrees Paras aren't SF anymore since the original SF units were in a dire state to begin with and merging them with regular Paratrooper units is the dumbest move ever. It's not the Para SF community which needs to be reformed since most operators are regular Ramu Shamu type guys hailing from villages and small towns to earn some bread for their fams. IA will continue to use Paras at least for the next decade in CI/CT ops despite RR being the designated unit for such ops and plans to eventually handover the valley to CRPF. It's the officer class coming outta IMA which should be truly reformed to educate them that warfare isn't simply throwing more guys into a fight. Since we're suckers for goras, maybe hire a few white instructors to teach them strategy and tactics

Unfortunately I don't expect IA to change in this regard and it'd be better we hope AFSOD comes to fruition and is formulated and led by folks from IN so that they become a formidable force along with Marcos which GoI can rely on for ops outside our borders

I disagree, in the book Full Spectrum India's wars 1972-2020, the author mentions that 2 Para was deployed in Kashmir in 2001 (so even I was wrong here). They had little success and several casualties so they were asked to be pulled back. They trained again and this time got deployed with MARCOS since 2002-2003. I think they were used a little in Kargil, then they were sent to Sierra Leone in the year 2000, while the rest of their battalion was training and then got sent to Kashmir

Afsod seems to be working fine yea it's not Jsoc yet without theaterization but atleast it working and GOV already relies on Marcos for tier 1 jobs now @airborneCommando broke it few months ago
