this picture was the real catharsis.. I don't know jack all about SF and infantry since I'm into aviation but just reading through this thread, first time I actually saw an Indian SF looking gucci as fuck

they did not....Clearance Divers (CD) did. And that's good. Earlier as I said before, MARCOs were perfoming alot of CD ops also. That is now changed and their focus has shifted towards spec ops on land. Earlier you could say that MARCOs dont have that much prowess on land warfare as Para SF. Now it's a different case. Also you might not need to blow enemy oil rigs. The US realized this during 2nd Gulf War and had about 300 SEALs (entire SEAL Team 3 and SDV) to help capture the piplines.

The navy is testing Galil ACE rifles manufactured by Punj Loyd in collaboration with IWI. Although I doubt we are gonna see a replacement soon considering navy has placed orders for X-95's and modified it's current arsenal of Tar-21's
