Lockdown and free internet.
for 14 years? and this is a 9 Para operatoryeah, or he was very very lucky.
I think It's badge of SFTS Nahan. Probably he was instructor there on in some way associated with SFTS
It's not like an SF operator would spend all 14 years in ops alone. Plus, getting shot isn't a common occurrence even in combat unless someone messed up. It's fairly uncommon to find someone with a bullet injury (or any serious combat related injury), especially if they're good at their job.for 14 years? and this is a 9 Para operator
No one else uses those 80s tac vests anymore.I dont think this is India...who posted this?
from his own words, he was in combat for atleast 9 and a half of those years. the other years he was out of combat due to injuries involving parachute mishaps. the guy is a tiger... unfortunately people on this forum have made it a habit to p1ss on him because they dont like his Bisleri comments. It's not like an SF operator would spend all 14 years in ops alone. No it cannot. The OFB rounds don't fit it in the chamber, the length is a few mm more than 45. Also the quality is questionable, esp fouling of gasses. What ammo do you guys use for the Tavor? As PLR systems(IWIs Indian partner) rep on Twitter Mr RK Sharma claims that the tavors can handle the OFB made 5.56x45 ammo for INSAS rifles . @AVINASH4061
Buddy the fact that it's unavailabe in this country, so whatever is given, the soldiers try to make the most of it. The US govt spends around 17000 USD to equip an infantry guy. Our govt doesn't spend even 17000 INR( not including the weapon and sights). Ab batao how do we compare? It

Avinash Sir why only para SF wears plate carriers and mag pouches like this lose fitting
I would again reiterate that it depends on- terrain and kind of ops.Even with the spray painting flashy surface is easily visible

Good job done here. The Tavor is hardly visible. Also because of the angle and picture quality maybe.

Well Not surprising, it's been before from, same goes for carriers which are made at unit's own tailor, And The Truma material can be outsourced from various domestic items.
